The Asia/Oceania Zone is one of the three zones of regional Davis Cup competition in 2010.
In the Asia/Oceania Zone there are four different groups in which teams compete against each other to advance to the next group.

The Indonesia men's national tennis team represents Indonesia in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Indonesian Tennis Association.
The Singapore Davis Cup team represents Singapore in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Singapore Tennis Association.
The Sri Lanka Davis Cup team represents Sri Lanka in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Sri Lanka Tennis Association.
The Vietnam Davis Cup team represents Vietnam in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Vietnam Tennis Federation. The President of VTF is Mr Nguyễn Danh Thái while the General Secretary is Mr Nguyen Quoc Ky. Commercial and International Affairs is handled by Mr Long Le Hoang.
The Bangladesh Davis Cup team represents Bangladesh in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Bangladesh Tennis Federation.
The Syria Davis Cup team represents Syria in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Syrian Arab Tennis Federation. Syria currently competes in the Asia/Oceania Zone of Group IV.
The Turkmenistan men's national tennis team represents Turkmenistan in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Turkmenistan Tennis Association.
The 1988 Davis Cup was the 77th edition of the Davis Cup, the most important tournament between national teams in men's tennis. This year's tournament marked the introduction of sub-divisions within each continental zone. Each zone would now feature two groups, with promotion and relegation between the two. This year also saw the Eastern Zone renamed as the Asia/Oceania Zone. 75 teams would enter the competition, 16 in the World Group, 13 in the Americas Zone, 16 in the Asia/Oceania Zone, and 30 in the Europe/Africa Zone. Cameroon, Ghana, Haiti, Iraq and Jamaica made their first appearances in the tournament.
The Hong Kong Billie Jean King Cup team represents Hong Kong in the Billie Jean King Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Hong Kong Tennis Association. They will compete in the Asia/Oceania Zone Group II in 2022.
The Uzbekistan Fed Cup team represents Uzbekistan in Fed Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation. They currently compete in the Asia/Oceania Zone of Group I. Current Uzbek Team consists of Akgul Amanmuradova, Sabina Sharipova and Nigina Abduraimova.
The Kyrgyzstan Fed Cup team represents Kyrgyzstan in Fed Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Kyrgyzstan Tennis Federation.
The Pakistan Billie Jean King/Fed Cup team represents Pakistan in Billie Jean King Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Pakistan Tennis Federation.

The Asia/Oceania Zone was one of the four zones within Group 3 of the regional Davis Cup competition in 2015. The zone's competition was held in round robin format in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in March 2015. The eight competing nations were divided into two pools of four. The winners and runners up from each pool played off to determine the two nations to be promoted to Asia/Oceania Zone Group II in 2016, while the remaining nations played to off to determine the two nations to be relegated to Asia/Oceania Zone Group IV in 2016.

The Russian Tennis Federation were the defending champions, but they and Belarus were eliminated from competing in international events due to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
