The 2010 edition of the K League was the 28th since its establishment in 1983. The 2010 season was known as Sonata K-League 2010 due to the competition's sponsorship by Hyundai Motor Company. Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors were the defending champions, having won their first title the previous season. The season began on 27 February 2010. The final match was played on 5 December 2010.

The 2010 Korean FA Cup, known as the Hana Bank FA Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 15th edition of Korean FA Cup. The 2010 KFA Cup began on 6 March 2010 and ended on 24 October 2010.
