Ajla Tomljanović is an Australian professional tennis player. She has won four singles and three doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. On 3 April 2023, she reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 32. On 5 January 2015, she peaked at No. 47 in the doubles rankings. Tomljanović was an accomplished junior player, having won the 2009 Australian Open girls' doubles title with Christina McHale. She reached a combined career-high junior ranking of world No. 4, on 30 March 2009.
The 2011 Aegon Classic was a women's tennis tournament played on outdoor grass courts. It was the 30th edition of the event. It took place at the Edgbaston Priory Club in Birmingham, United Kingdom, originally scheduled for 6–12 June 2011, but the final was rescheduled to 13 June 2011 due to rain. Unseeded Sabine Lisicki won the singles title.
Sarah Borwell and Raquel Kops-Jones were the defending champions. They both participated, but competed with different partners. Borwell played alongside Melanie South, while Kops-Jones decided to play with Abigail Spears.
Kimiko Date-Krumm and Zhang Shuai won the final against Kops-Jones and Spears 6–4, 7–6(7).

The 2015 PTT Thailand Open was a women's professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 24th and last edition of the PTT Thailand Open and part of the International category on the 2015 WTA Tour. It took place at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Pattaya, Thailand from 9 February until 15 February 2015. Unseeded Daniela Hantuchová won the singles title, her third at the event after 2011 and 2012, and earned $43,000 first-prize money.

Junri Namigata and Kotomi Takahata were the defending champions, but both players chose to participate with different partners. Namigata partnered Arina Rodionova, while Takahata played alongside Megumi Nishimoto. Takahata and Nishimoto beat Namigata and Rodionova in the first round, however they lost to Tara Moore and Amra Sadiković in the quarterfinals.
Zarina Diyas was the defending champion, but lost in the quarterfinals to Zhang Shuai.
Belinda Bencic was the champion the last time the event was held in 2017, but chose to compete in St. Petersburg instead.
Kiki Bertens was the defending champion, but lost in the third round to Maria Sakkari.
Pauline Parmentier was the defending champion, but lost in the second round to Elena Rybakina.
