The 2011 BWF Super Series Finals was a top level badminton competition which was held from December 14 to December 18, 2011 in Liuzhou, China. The final was held by Chinese Badminton Association and sponsored by Li-Ning. [1] It was the final event of the BWF Super Series competition on the 2011 BWF Super Series schedule. The total purse for the event was $500,000.

Mathias Boe is a badminton player from Denmark. He was the gold medalist at the 2015 European Games, two time European champions winning in 2012 and 2017, and the silver medalist at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He joined the Denmark winning team at the 2016 Thomas Cup in Kunshan, China.
Ma Jin is a badminton player from China who specialises in women's and mixed doubles. She partnered Wang Xiaoli in women's doubles and excelled in the category until 2010 when both players are split after China failed to defend their Uber Cup against South Korea in Kuala Lumpur. Consequently, Ma Jin was unable to continue competing in the women's doubles event without her regular partner and she had to concentrate on mixed doubles instead. Ma Jin had tasted successes in mixed with several partners, notably Zheng Bo, He Hanbin and Xu Chen. Her domination at the front of the court combined with the power play from Xu Chen made them one of the most dominant Chinese pairs to date, the other being Zhang Nan and Zhao Yunlei.
Kim Ha-na is a South Korean badminton player. She was the mixed doubles gold medalist at the 2013 Asian Championships, and was part of the national team that won the Sudirman Cup in 2017. Kim won her first Superseries title at the 2012 India Open in the women's doubles event. She reached a career high of world no. 1 in the mixed doubles in September 2016.
Zhong Qianxin is a Chinese badminton player.
Hong Wei is a Chinese professional badminton player. He competed at the 2016 Rio in the men's doubles event, and placed fourth after losing the bronze medal match to Great Britain pair Chris Langridge and Marcus Ellis.
Tse Ying Suet is a Hong Kong badminton player. She competed at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics in the women's doubles event. In 2012, she won the women's doubles title at the Japan Open tournament with Poon Lok Yan by beating four Japan pairs consecutively.
Tang Jinhua is a Chinese retired badminton player who competed at the highest level during the second decade of the 2000s, winning numerous women's doubles and occasional mixed doubles events with a variety of partners. She is a graduate of Hunan University.
Xia Huan is a Chinese badminton doubles player.
Tang Yuanting is a Chinese badminton player specializing in doubles. She is a women's doubles Asian Champion and East Asian Games gold medalist. Tang was part of the China winning team in a Sudirman Cup, Uber Cup, Asia Team Championships, and an East Asian Games. She competed at the 2016 Rio Olympics in the women's doubles event partnered with Yu Yang, but lost to the Korean pair in the bronze medal match. She retired from the international competition at the age of 22 in September 2016.
Liu Cheng is a retired badminton player who represented China. He was the men's doubles World Champion in 2017 partnered with Zhang Nan, also the mixed doubles World and Asian Junior Champion in 2010 with Bao Yixin. Liu was part of the national team member that won the team events at the 2015, 2021 Sudirman Cup, 2018 Thomas Cup and 2018 Asian Games. He reached a career high of world number 2 in both men's and mixed doubles events. He announced his retirement from the international tournament on 30 June 2022.

Lu Kai is a Chinese badminton player who specializes in doubles. He won the mixed doubles gold medal at the 2009 Asian Junior Championships partnered with Bao Yixin, and later at the 2017 Asian Championships with Huang Yaqiong.
Ou Dongni is a badminton player from China. She won the 2015 Singapore Super Series with Yu Xiaohan.
Chen Qingchen is a Chinese badminton player. She started her achievements under her coach Li Yongbo, with partner in the women's doubles Jia Yifan, and in the mixed doubles Zheng Siwei. In 2017, she was awarded as the BWF Best Female Player of the Year, after came to Dubai World Superseries Finals as the first seeded both in women's and mixed doubles, and also won the women's doubles gold and mixed doubles silver medals at the 2017 BWF World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. In women's doubles, she also won gold medals at the 2021 and 2022 World Championships, 2018 Asian Games and at the 2019 Asian Championships.
Jia Yifan is a Chinese badminton player. She won gold medals at the 2017, 2021, 2022 World Championships, 2018 Asian Games and at the 2019 Asian Championships.
Li Junhui is a Chinese badminton player. He was the gold medalist at the 2018 World Championships in the men's doubles event partnered with Liu Yuchen, two times won the gold medal at the Asian Championships in 2017 and 2018, and was a silver medalist at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Kong Hee-yong is a South Korean badminton player. In 2013, she won the mixed team gold at the BWF World Junior Championships. In 2014, Kong who was educated at the Daesung girls' high school competed at the Asian Junior Championships and won the silver medals in the mixed team and doubles event. She also play for the Jeonbuk Bank at the national event, and at the 2017 Japan Open, she became the runner-up in the women's doubles event partnered with Kim Ha-na. Together with Kim So-yeong, she was awarded as the 2019 BWF Most Improved Player of the Year.
