The 2011 Big East Baseball Tournament was held from May 25 through May 29, 2011. It was an eight-team double elimination tournament. Seton Hall was their third tournament championship and claimed the league's automatic bid to the 2011 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. [2]

Format and seeding

The Big East baseball tournament was an 8 team double elimination tournament in 2009. The top eight regular season finishers were seeded one through eight based on conference winning percentage only. The field was divided into two brackets, with the winners of each bracket meeting in a single championship game. [2]

The SEC Tournament champion is separate from the conference champion. The conference championship is determined solely by regular season record.

The Conference USA Baseball Tournament is the conference championship tournament in baseball for Conference USA (C-USA). The winner of the tournament receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. The tournament format, which has changed several times, currently consists of an eight-team double-elimination tournament format, in which the winners of two four-team brackets play in a single-game final. Rice, which has won the tournament seven times, is the most successful team in the tournament's history.

The Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament is the conference championship tournament in baseball for the Sun Belt Conference. 2012 Big East Conference Baseball Tournament

The 2012 Big East Conference Baseball Tournament was held from May 23 to May 27, 2012 at Bright House Field in Clearwater, FL. It was an eight-team double elimination tournament. The winner, St. John's, received the league's automatic bid to the 2012 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. This marked the Red Storm's seventh tournament championship, the most of any Big East team.

2013 Southeastern Conference Baseball Tournament

The 2013 Southeastern Conference Baseball Tournament was held from May 21 through May 26 at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama. The annual tournament determined the tournament champion of the Division I Southeastern Conference in college baseball. The tournament champion, LSU, earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.

The 1987 Big East Baseball Tournament was held at Muzzy Field in Bristol, CT. This was the third Big East baseball tournament, and was won by the Seton Hall Pirates. As a result, Seton Hall earned the Big East Conference's automatic bid to the 1987 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.

Louisville joined the league prior to the 2006 season.

The 2013 Big South Conference Baseball Tournament was held from May 21–25. The top eight regular season finishers of the conference's twelve teams met in the double-elimination tournament, which was held at Liberty Baseball Stadium on the campus of Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. In the championship game, fifth-seeded Liberty defeated first-seeded Campbell, 2-1, to win its fourth tournament championship. As a result, Liberty earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.

The 2014 Big Ten Conference Baseball Tournament was held at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, NE from May 21 through 25. The eight team, double-elimination tournament determined the league champion for the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball season. Indiana won their second consecutive, and fourth overall, tournament championship and claimed the Big Ten Conference's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. The event was aired on the Big Ten Network. This was the first time the event was held in Omaha and the first time it featured eight teams.

The 2014 Big South Conference Baseball Tournament was held from May 20–24. The top eight regular season finishers of the conference's twelve teams met in the double-elimination tournament theld at Winthrop Ballpark on the campus of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Campbell won their third tournament title, and first since returning to the league in 2012, to earn the conference's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
