The Collingwood Football Club, nicknamed the Magpies or colloquially the Pies, is a professional Australian rules football club based in Melbourne, Victoria that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's elite competition. Founded in 1892 in the Melbourne suburb of Collingwood, the club played in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) before joining seven other teams in 1896 to form the breakaway Victorian Football League (VFL), known today as the Australian Football League (AFL). Golds made his debut for the Giants in round 20, 2012, against Gold Coast at Carrara Stadium. He was delisted by the Giants in October 2015.

He was recruited from the Redland Australian Football Club in the North East Australian Football League (NEAFL) with the 35th selection in the 2013 rookie draft. He represented Queensland at the 2011 and 2012 AFL Under 18 Championships.
