The 2012 Guangzhou International Women's open doubles was a women's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts in Guangzhou, China.
Hsieh Su-wei and Zheng Saisai were the defending champions, but decided not to participate together. Hsieh played alongside Hsieh Shu-ying, but lost in the quarterfinals to Tamarine Tanasugarn and Zhang Shuai. Zheng competed with Tetiana Luzhanska, but lost in the semifinals to Jarmila Gajdošová and Monica Niculescu.

It took place in Guangzhou, China, from September 17 through September 23, 2012.

Hsieh Su-wei and Barbora Strýcová defeated Gabriela Dabrowski and Xu Yifan in the final, 6−2, 6−4 to win the ladies' doubles tennis title at the 2019 Wimbledon Championships. With the win, Strýcová attained the WTA no. 1 doubles ranking for the first time – Kristina Mladenovic, Elise Mertens and Ashleigh Barty were also in contention for the top ranking. Hsieh and Strýcová won the title without losing a set during the tournament.
