Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková won the tournament, defeating Belinda Bencic and Sara Sorribes Tormo in the final, 6–3, 6–4. This was the Czech pair's third Grand Slam victory in a row. Krejčíková became the fourth girls' doubles player to reach all of the Grand Slam finals in a calendar year after Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Urszula Radwańska and Tímea Babos.

Annika Beck was the 2012 champion, but was no longer eligible to compete in junior tennis, and thus couldn't defend her title.
Daria Gavrilova and Irina Khromacheva were the 2012 champions, but Gavrilova was no longer eligible to compete in junior tennis, so was unable to defend her title. Khromacheva entered qualifying for the women's draw, but lost in the second qualifying round.

It was Hsieh's second French Open title, and fifth major title overall; it was Wang's first major title. Fernandez became the first Canadian finalist.
