The 2014 Marbella Football Cup was held in February 2014 in Marbella, Spain. Four teams participated in the tournament, one from Bulgaria, one from Sweden, one from China and one from Romania. This tournaments was a predecessor of the current Marbella Cup tournament.

Cosmin Olăroiu Romanian footballer and manager

Cosmin Aurelian Olăroiu is a Romanian professional football manager and former footballer in charge of UAE Pro League Sharjah FC. As a manager, he guided Steaua Bucharest to the Romanian League title and Romanian Supercup both in 2006, and led his side to the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup in the same year. He is considered one of the greatest managers in the Arabian Peninsula, having led the most decorated clubs of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and United Arab Emirates – Al Hilal, Al Sadd, Al Ain and Al Ahli – to new trophies. In 2020, he guided Jiangsu Suning to their first-ever title in China.

Paulinho (footballer, born July 1988) Brazilian association football player

José Paulo Bezerra Maciel Júnior, known as Paulinho, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Sport Club Corinthians Paulista. He is also a former Brazil international, making 56 caps between 2011 and 2018.

Gustav Svensson Swedish footballer

Karl Gustav Johan Svensson is a Swedish footballer who plays for Allsvenskan club IFK Göteborg as a midfielder. Starting off his footballing career in Sweden with IFK Göteborg, Svensson has gone on to play professionally in Turkey, Ukraine, China, and the United States. A full international between 2009 and 2021, Svensson won 32 caps for the Sweden national team and represented his country at the 2018 FIFA World Cup as well as UEFA Euro 2020.

EUROFANZ

EUROFANZ is an annual international football tournament which began in 2007 for fans of European teams and is held in Lviv, Ukraine. The dates for the next EUROFANZ festival are July 3–5, 2020.

The 2010–11 season was FC Dinamo București's 62nd consecutive season in Liga I. Dinamo sought to win their first trophy in four seasons, but this once again proved unsuccessful. The team started well the season in Liga I, leading until the seventh day, but a run of five matches without win ended their challenge. The team came closest to silverware in the Romanian Cup, reaching the final, only to lose against its biggest rival, FC Steaua București.

Muriqui (footballer) Brazilian footballer

Luiz Guilherme da Conceição Silva, commonly known as Muriqui, is a Brazilian professional footballer who currently plays for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Avaí.

The 1981–82 season was FC Dinamo București's 33rd season in Divizia A. Dinamo dominated both national competitions, winning the tenth championship title and the fourth Romanian Cup. The UEFA Cup season brings some great wins for Dinamo. The red-whites meet Levski Sofia, team of Sirakov and Iskrenov. In the second round, a terrifying "double": Dinamo-Internazionale. At Milan, 1-1 and back home in Bucharest, 3-2 for the "dogs", in the extra time! Dinamo is eliminated by the Swedish team IFK Göteborg, managed by Sven-Göran Eriksson, which later ends up winning the trophy.

The 2011–12 season was Ludogorets Razgrad's first season in the A Football Group. Ludogorets Razgrad won their first Bulgarian Cup on 16 May, defeating Lokomotiv Plovdiv 2–1, before completing the domestic double a week later by defeating CSKA Sofia 1–0 on 23 May 2012 to claim their first top flight league title.

The 2013–14 season was FC Dinamo București's 65th consecutive season in Liga I. In this season, Dinamo played in Liga I and Cupa României. Dinamo finished the previous season on the 6th place in Liga I and missed a qualification for a European competition for the first time since 1998.

The 2014 Guangzhou Evergrande season is the 61st year in Guangzhou Evergrande's existence and is its 47th season in the Chinese football league, also its 25th season in the top flight.

The Atlantic Cup (football) Football tournament

The Atlantic Cup is a pre/mid season football tournament held in Algarve, Portugal for European football clubs from national leagues which do not operate in the winter months. It therefore consists mainly of teams from Scandinavia, Northern and Central Europe.

The 2014 season was IFK Göteborg's 109th in existence, their 82nd season in Allsvenskan and their 38th consecutive season in the league. They competed in Allsvenskan where they finished second, Svenska Cupen where they were knocked out in the quarter-finals and the UEFA Europa League where they were knocked out in the third qualifying round. IFK Göteborg also participated in one competition in which the club continued playing in for the 2015 season, 2014–15 Svenska Cupen. The season began with the group stage of Svenska Cupen on 1 March, league play started on 30 March and lasted until 1 November. A new captain was announced since former captain Tobias Hysén left the squad. Vice captain Mattias Bjärsmyr took over the captaincy.

The 1963–64 Balkans Cup was an edition of the Balkans Cup, a football competition for representative clubs from the Balkan states. It was contested by 8 teams and Rapid București won the trophy.

The 2019 season was Malmö FF's 108th in existence, their 84th season in Allsvenskan and their 19th consecutive season in the league. The season began with the first leg of the round of 32 of the UEFA Europa League on 14 February, league play started on 1 April and concluded on 2 November. The season concluded with the last UEFA Europa League group stage match on 12 December.

Western Sydney Wanderers Football Club is an Australian professional association football club based in Rooty Hill, New South Wales. They play in the A-League and their home ground is Bankwest Stadium. They have qualified for the AFC Champions League three times, in 2014, 2015 and 2017. They won in their first attempt, defeating Al Hilal SFC 1–0 over the two legged final, becoming the first Australian team to win the tournament. In the other two occasions, they got knocked out in the group stage of the tournament.
