The 2015 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) softball tournament was held at Demske Sports Complex Complex on the campus of the Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, from May 6 through May 9, 2015. [1] The tournament winner will earn the MAAC's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I softball tournament. All games will be streamed online on MAAC.TV.

The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with NCAA Division I. Of its current 11 full members, 10 are located in three states of the northeastern United States: Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York. The other member is in Maryland.
The Northeast Conference (NEC) is a collegiate athletic conference whose schools are members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Teams in the NEC compete in Division I for all sports; football competes in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). Participating schools are located principally in the Northeastern United States, from which the conference derives its name.
The Fairfield Stags are the athletic programs representing Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. Most of the programs are members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and classified as Division I (non-football) in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
The Rider Broncs are the athletic teams of Rider University, a private nonsectarian university in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, United States. The school is a Division I member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and its athletes compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). For wrestling only, Rider is an affiliate member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC).
The Manhattan Jaspers are composed of 19 teams representing Manhattan College in intercollegiate athletics. The Jaspers compete in the NCAA Division I and are members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
The Red Foxes are the athletic teams of Marist College. The Marist Red Foxes compete in NCAA Division I athletics as a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) the only exception being football, a member of the Pioneer Football League (PFL).
Brian Giorgis is the current head coach of the Marist Red Foxes women's basketball program. Giorgis completed his nineteenth season at the helm as head coach in 2021. His 250th career win at Marist, which came in March 2012, coincided with his players notching the Red Foxes' 7th Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) crown, and their eighth conference crown since 2004.
The Iona Gaels are the athletics teams of Iona University, in New Rochelle, New York. They compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and participate in 21 NCAA Division I programs.
The Canisius College Golden Griffins are composed of 16 teams representing Canisius College in intercollegiate athletics. These teams include men's and women's basketball, cross country, track, lacrosse, soccer, and swimming and diving. Men's sports include baseball, ice hockey, and golf. Women's sports include volleyball, soccer, and softball. The Golden Griffins compete in the NCAA Division I and are members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) for most sports, excluding men's ice hockey which competes in Atlantic Hockey.
The Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers athletic teams represent Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. "The Mount" competes in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I athletics as a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).
The Rev. James M. Demske Sports Complex is a baseball, soccer, lacrosse, and softball venue in Buffalo, New York, United States. It is home to the Canisius Golden Griffins baseball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's lacrosse, and softball teams of the NCAA Division I Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). Built in 1989, the venue has a capacity of 1,200 spectators. The building is named for Rev. James Demske, who served as the President of Canisius College from 1966 until 1993. It is located behind the Koessler Athletic Center on Canisius' campus. To save space and money in the college's urban setting, the 14-acre (5.7 ha) facility is home to six Canisius athletic programs.
The Lamar Lady Cardinals softball team represents Lamar University in NCAA Division I college softball. The team participates in the Southland Conference. The Lady Cardinals are currently led by head coach Amy Hooks. The team played its home games at the off-campus Ford Park for the first two seasons following the program restart. The Lady Cardinals began playing home games at the Lamar Softball Complex located on the university's campus starting with the 2015 season.
The 2015 Western Athletic Conference Softball tournament will be held at the New Mexico State softball complex on the campus of New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico from May 7 through May 9, 2015. The tournament winner will earn the Western Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. All games will be streamed online on the WAC Digital Network with Danny Mata, sports director of KVIA providing the call.
The 2015 Big East Conference softball tournament was held at The Ballpark at Rosemont in Rosemont, Illinois. The tournament, hosted by DePaul University, ran May 8 through May 9, 2015 and determined the champion for the Big East Conference for the 2015 NCAA Division I softball season. Top-seeded St. John's won the tournament for the first time and earned the Big East Conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. The entire tournament was broadcast on Fox Sports 2. Eric Collins and Brooke Weisbrod served as the broadcasters for Fox.
The 2015 Atlantic Sun Conference Softball tournament was held at FGCU Softball Complex on the campus of the Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida from May 6 through May 9, 2015. The tournament winner, USC Upstate, defeated Lipscomb in the Championship final 9-1 to earn the Atlantic Sun Conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. All games were streamed online on ESPN3.
The 2015 Mid-American Conference (MAC) softball tournament will be held at Firestone Stadium in Akron, Ohio, home of Akron University, from May 6 through May 9, 2015. The tournament winner will earn the Mid-American Conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I softball tournament. All games will be streamed via mac-sports.com.
The 2015 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) softball tournament was held at Ormond Beach Sports Complex in Ormond Beach, Florida, from May 7 through May 9, 2015. The tournament winner will earn the MEAC's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I softball tournament. Stats will be available for all games, but no games will be streamed or televised.
The 2015 Northeast Conference Softball tournament will be held at North Athletic Complex on the campus of Robert Morris University in Moon Township, Pennsylvania from May 7 through May 9, 2015. The tournament will earn the Northeast Conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. The entire tournament will be available on NEC Front Row.
The 2015 Summit League Softball tournament will be held at Ellig Sports Complex on the campus of the North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota from May 7 through May 10, 2015. The tournament winner will earn The Summit League's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. All games will be streamed online on gobison.com/watch.
The 2016 NCAA Division I softball tournament was held from May 20 through June 8, 2016 as the final part of the 2016 NCAA Division I softball season. The 64 NCAA Division I college softball teams were to be selected out of an eligible 293 teams on May 15, 2016. Thirty-two teams were awarded an automatic bid as champions of their conference, and thirty-two teams were selected at-large by the NCAA Division I softball selection committee. The tournament culminated with eight teams playing in the 2016 Women's College World Series at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City in which the Oklahoma Sooners were crowned the champions.
