The 2015 Patriot League Softball tournament will be held at Leadership Park on the campus of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania from May 7 through May 9, 2015. [1] The tournament will earn the Patriot League's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. The entire tournament will be available on the Patriot League Network (PLN) run by Campus Insiders.

The 64 NCAA Division I college softball teams were selected out of an eligible 293 teams on May 11, 2014. 32 teams were awarded an automatic bid as champions of their conference, and 32 teams were selected at-large by the NCAA Division I Softball Selection Committee. The tournament culminated with eight teams playing in the 2014 Women's College World Series at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.

The finals of the 1982 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament were held from May 27 through May 30. 16 Division I college softball teams met in the NCAA tournament's first round at campus sites. After having played their way through the regular season and first round, the eight advancing teams played in the NCAA Women's College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. UCLA won the title. Historian Bill Plummer III wrote, "With their 77-8 season record, Texas A&M could have been a contender in Omaha − maybe even the top seed − against perennial softball powers like UCLA and Fresno State. The Aggies had been invited to the NCAA's first national tournament, but chose not to go. A&M coach Bob Brock had high respect for the eleven-year-old AIAW, even as the NCAA began to overshadow it. Out of a sense of loyalty to the AIAW, Brock said, his school chose the 1982 Norman championship over the NCAA's first in Omaha."

The 2015 SEC Softball tournament will be held at Tiger Park on the campus of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana from May 6 through May 9, 2015. The tournament will earn the Southeastern Conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. The Championship game will be broadcast on ESPN2 and the semifinals will be broadcast on ESPNU, while all other SEC tournament games will be live on the SEC Network.

The 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament was held from May 14 through June 3, 2015 as the final part of the 2015 NCAA Division I softball season. The tournament winner will earn the Atlantic 10 Conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. All games will be streamed online on the A-10 Network.

The 2015 Southern Conference softball tournament was held at Jim Frost Stadium on the campus of Chattanooga University in Chattanooga, Tennessee from May 6 through May 9, 2015. Chattanooga won their eight tournament championship and earned the SoCon's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. The Championship game was broadcast on ESPN3 while all other games were broadcast on the SoCon Digital Network.

The 2015 Atlantic Sun Conference Softball tournament was held at FGCU Softball Complex on the campus of the Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida from May 6 through May 9, 2015. The tournament winner, USC Upstate, defeated Lipscomb in the Championship final 9-1 to earn the Atlantic Sun Conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. All games were streamed online on ESPN3.

The 2015 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Softball tournament was held at Veterans Memorial Park on the campus of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia from May 6 through May 8, 2015. Hofstra won the tournament, beating the top seeded James Madison Dukes and earning the CAA's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. The entire tournament was aired on CAA.TV with the championship being broadcast on TV on American Sports Network.

2015 Horizon League Softball Tournament Sports tournament

The 2015 Horizon League softball tournament was held at Oakland Softball Stadium on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan from May 6 through May 9, 2015. The tournament winner earned the Horizon League's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. All games were broadcast on ESPN3.

The 2015 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Softball tournament will be held at Demske Sports Complex Complex on the campus of the Canisius College in Buffalo, New York from May 6 through May 9, 2015. The tournament winner will earn the MAAC's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. All games will be streamed online on MAAC.TV.

The 2015 America East Conference Softball tournament will be held at University Field on the campus of Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York from May 7 through May 9, 2015. The tournament will earn the America East Conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. The tournament will only have the championship series broadcast. The championship will be available on AmericaEast.tv with Andrew Bogush and Scott Greene providing the call.

The 2015 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Softball tournament will be held at Wilkins Stadium on the campus of Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas from May 7 through May 9, 2015. The tournament winner will earn the MVC's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. All games will be televised on ESPN3 with R.C. McBrdie and Laura Leonard calling the action.

The 2015 Northeast Conference Softball tournament will be held at North Athletic Complex on the campus of Robert Morris University in Moon Township, Pennsylvania from May 7 through May 9, 2015. The tournament will earn the Northeast Conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. The entire tournament will be available on NEC Front Row.

The 2015 Summit League Softball tournament will be held at Ellig Sports Complex on the campus of the North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota from May 7 through May 10, 2015. The tournament winner will earn The Summit League's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. All games will be streamed online on gobison.com/watch.

The 2016 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament was held from May 20 through June 8, 2016 as the final part of the 2016 NCAA Division I softball season. The 64 NCAA Division I college softball teams were to be selected out of an eligible 293 teams on May 15, 2016. Thirty-two teams were awarded an automatic bid as champions of their conference, and thirty-two teams were selected at-large by the NCAA Division I softball selection committee. The tournament culminated with eight teams playing in the 2016 Women's College World Series at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City in which the Oklahoma Sooners were crowned the champions.

The 2021 Patriot League Softball tournament is being held at the BU Softball Field on the campus of Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts from May 13 through May 15, 2021. The tournament winner will earn the Patriot League's automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament
