The 2015 Pocono Mountains 150 was the 12th stock car race of the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and the 6th iteration of the event. The race was held on Saturday, August 1, 2015, in Long Pond, Pennsylvania at Pocono Raceway, a 2.5 mile (4.0 km) permanent triangular-shaped racetrack. The race was increased from 60 to 69 laps, due to numerous NASCAR overtime attempts. Kyle Busch, driving for his team, Kyle Busch Motorsports, would hold off the field in three overtime attempts to earn his 43rd career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win, and his first of the season. Busch had dominated the race as well, leading a race-high 53 laps. [1] To fill out the podium, Kevin Harvick, driving for JR Motorsports, and Tyler Reddick, driving for Brad Keselowski Racing, would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

Pocono Raceway (formerly Pocono International Raceway), also known as The Tricky Triangle, is a superspeedway located in the Pocono Mountains in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. It is the site of three NASCAR national series races and an ARCA Racing Series event in July: a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race with support events by the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. From 1971 to 1989, and since 2013, the track also hosted an Indy Car race, currently sanctioned by the IndyCar Series. Additionally, since 1982, it currently hosts two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.[ citation needed ]

Full practice results

Qualifying

Qualifying was held on Saturday, August 1, at 10:00 AM EST. [2] The qualifying system used is a multi car, multi lap, two round system where in the first round, everyone would set a time to determine positions 13–32. Then, the fastest 12 qualifiers would move on to the second round to determine positions 1-12. [4]

Erik Jones, driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports, would win the pole after advancing from the preliminary round and setting the fastest time in Round 2, with a lap of 54.151, and an average speed of 166.202 mph (267.476 km/h). [5]

Tim Viens was the only driver that failed to qualify.

The 2015 Careers for Veterans 200 was the 13th stock car race of the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and the 16th iteration of the event. The race was held on Saturday, August 15, 2015, in Brooklyn, Michigan at Michigan International Speedway, a 2.0 mile permanent tri-oval shaped racetrack. The race took the scheduled 100 laps to complete. Kyle Busch, driving for his team, Kyle Busch Motorsports, would make a late-race pass for the lead on Ryan Blaney with four laps to go, earning his 44th career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win, and his second of the season. Busch dominated parts of the race as well, leading a race-high 44 laps. To fill out the podium, Blaney, driving for Brad Keselowski Racing, and Erik Jones, driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports, would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

The 2015 UNOH 200 presented by ZLOOP was the 14th stock car race of the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and the 18th iteration of the event. The race was held on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, in Bristol, Tennessee at Bristol Motor Speedway, a 0.533 mile permanent oval-shaped racetrack. The race was increased from 200 to 202 laps, due to a NASCAR overtime finish. Ryan Blaney, driving for Brad Keselowski Racing, would hold off pole-sitter Kyle Busch on the final restart to earn his fourth career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win, and his first of the season. To fill out the podium, Busch, driving for his team, Kyle Busch Motorsports, and John Hunter Nemechek, driving for SWM-NEMCO Motorsports, would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

The 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 250 was the 15th stock car race of the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and the 3rd iteration of the event. The race was held on Sunday, August 30, 2015, in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, a 2.459 mile permanent road course. The race took the scheduled 64 laps to complete. Erik Jones, driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports, would hold off the field on the final restart, and led the final two laps to earn his sixth career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win, and his second of the season. Jones and Cole Custer dominated the majority of the race, leading 19 and 22 laps. Pole-sitter Alex Tagliani lead eight laps, and ran second on the final lap before experiencing issues and ultimately finished in fifth. To fill out the podium, Matt Crafton, driving for his team, ThorSport Racing, and Ben Kennedy, driving for Red Horse Racing, would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

The 2015 Lucas Oil 150 was the 22nd stock car race of the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and the 21st iteration of the event. The race was held on Friday, November 13, 2015, in Avondale, Arizona at Phoenix International Raceway, a 1 mi (1.6 km) permanent quad-oval shaped racetrack. The race took the scheduled 150 laps to complete. Timothy Peters, driving for Red Horse Racing, would hold off John Hunter Nemechek with under 30 laps to go, and earned his 10th career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win, and his second of the season. Pole-sitter Erik Jones dominated the entire race, leading 106 of the 150 laps before being involved in an incident with Matt Crafton with 30 laps to go. To fill out the podium, Nemechek, driving for family-owned SWM-NEMCO Motorsports, and John Wes Townley, driving for family-owned Athenian Motorsports, would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
