The 2015 Bank of Communications OTO Shanghai Masters was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place between 14 and 20 September 2015 at the Shanghai Grand Stage in Shanghai, China. It was the second ranking event of the 2015/2016 season. [1]

Contents

Stuart Bingham was the defending champion, [2] but he lost 3–6 against Judd Trump in the semi-finals. [3]

Kyren Wilson won his first ranking title, defeating Trump 10–9 in the final.

2017–18 snooker season Series of snooker tournaments

The 2017–18 snooker season was a series of professional snooker tournaments played between 4 May 2017 and 7 May 2018. The season began with the pro–am Vienna Snooker Open in May 2017 and ended with the 2018 World Snooker Championship in April the following year. Ronnie O'Sullivan earned a joint-record five ranking titles in the season. He joined Stephen Hendry (1990/1991), Ding Junhui (2013/2014), and Mark Selby (2016/2017) in winning five ranking titles in the same season.

The 2018 World Snooker Championship was a professional snooker tournament held from 21 April to 7 May 2018 at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, England. Hosted by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association, it was the 20th and final ranking event of the 2017-18 snooker season and the 42nd consecutive time the World Snooker Championship had been held at the venue. The tournament was broadcast by BBC Sport and Eurosport in Europe, and sponsored by betting company Betfred.

2018–19 snooker season Series of snooker tournaments

The 2018–19 snooker season was a series of professional snooker tournaments played between 10 May 2018 and 6 May 2019. The season was made up of ranking tournaments, non-ranking tournaments and variant tournaments. In total, 54 events were competed in the 2018–19 season, beginning with the pro–am 2018 Vienna Open, and ending with the 2019 World Snooker Championship.

The 2019 World Snooker Championship was a professional snooker tournament that took place from 20 April to 6 May 2019 at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, England. It was the 43rd consecutive year the World Snooker Championship had been held at the Crucible, and the 20th and final ranking event of the 2018–19 snooker season. Qualifying for the tournament took place from 10 to 17 April 2019 at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield. Sports betting company Betfred sponsored the event.

2019 German Masters Snooker tournament

The 2019 German Masters was a professional ranking snooker tournament, taking place from 30 January to 3 February 2019 in Berlin, Germany. The tournament was the eleventh ranking event of the 2018/2019 season.
