The Greyhounds, led by tenth year head coach Joe Logan, played their home games at Reitz Arena and were members of the Patriot League. They finished the season 16–16, 11–7 in Patriot League play to finish in third place. They advanced to the championship game of the Patriot League women's tournament where they lost to Army.

The Patriot League is a collegiate athletic conference comprising private institutions of higher education and two United States service academies based in the Northeastern United States. Except for the Ivy League, it is the most selective group of higher education institutions in the NCAA, and has a very high student-athlete graduation rate for both the NCAA graduation success rate and the federal graduation rate.

They are currently led by third-year head coach Tavaras Hardy. It became a member of the Patriot League along with the university's other intercollegiate athletic programs on July 1, 2013. Home matches are played at Reitz Arena.

The Greyhounds compete in NCAA Division I and have been a member of the Patriot League for all sports since July 1, 2013.

The Greyhounds, led by ninth year head coach Jimmy Patsos, played their home games at Reitz Arena and were members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. They finished the season 23–12, 12–6 in MAAC play to finish in a tie for second place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the MAAC tournament to Manhattan. They were invited to the 2013 CIT where they defeated Boston University and Kent State to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost ton East Carolina.

As a #16 seed in the First Four they defeated Southern to advance to the first round where they lost to Oregon.
