College Hockey America (CHA) is a college ice hockey conference in the United States. It participates in the NCAA's Division I as a hockey-only conference. The conference is made up of six women's teams, with three in Pennsylvania; two in New York, and one in Missouri.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Mercyhurst Lakers women's ice hockey</span> American college ice hockey program of Mercyhurst University

The Mercyhurst Lakers women's ice hockey team is a college ice hockey program representing Mercyhurst University in NCAA Division I competition as a member of the College Hockey America (CHA) conference. They play in Erie, Pennsylvania at the Mercyhurst Ice Center, located on the Mercyhurst campus.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">RIT Tigers women's ice hockey</span> College ice hockey team

The RIT Tigers women's ice hockey team is one of two hockey teams representing Rochester Institute of Technology in suburban Rochester, New York. The team moved to NCAA Division I women's ice hockey as a member of College Hockey America after many years at Division III as part of the ECAC West conference. The Bruce B. Bates Women's Hockey Coach is former RIT player and captain Celeste Brown.

The RIT Tigers represented the Rochester Institute of Technology in College Hockey America during the 2012-13 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. This was the inaugural year at the Division I level. The Tigers had been the Division III National Champions in 2011-12, with a 28-1-1 record. In their move to Division I, and the College Hockey America conference, RIT had a modestly successful season, and reached the Semifinal level of the CHA Tournament.

The Mercyhurst Lakers represented Mercyhurst University in CHA women's ice hockey during the 2014-15 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The Lakers were the regular season champions of the College Hockey America Conference (CHA), and lost the conference tournament final game to RIT.

The RIT Tigers represented the Rochester Institute of Technology in College Hockey America during the 2014-15 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. In their third year at the Division I level, the Tigers repeated as CHA Tournament champions and secured their first berth in the NCAA tournament.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Celeste Brown (ice hockey)</span> American ice hockey player and coach

Celeste Brown is an American former professional ice hockey player in the PHF, and is the current head coach of the RIT Tigers women's ice hockey team. Brown previously played for the New York Riveters during the 2015–16 NWHL season and the Connecticut Whale.

Lindsay Grigg is a women’s ice hockey player. Having played at the NCAA level with the RIT Tigers women's ice hockey program, she was a member of the Buffalo Beauts of the National Women's Hockey League during the 2015–16 NWHL season, the first in league history. Grigg has also competed for the Canada women's national inline hockey team. For the 2016–17 season, Grigg has signed a contract to play with the HV71 club, part of Sweden's Riksserien league.

The Robert Morris Colonials women represented Robert Morris University in CHA women's ice hockey during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The Colonials finished conference play in fourth place, and were eliminated in the semifinal of the CHA Tournament by Mercyhurst.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2016–17 Robert Morris Colonials women's ice hockey season</span> Tournament in Pennsylvania

The 2016–17 Robert Morris Colonials women's ice hockey season was the twelfth season of the Robert Morris Colonials women's ice hockey program. The team represented Robert Morris University in the College Hockey America (CHA) conference during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The 2016–17 Colonials were the CHA regular season champions for first time in program history and won the CHA Tournament for the second time. They also appeared in the NCAA Tournament for the first time, falling to Wisconsin in the opening round.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Rebecca Vint</span> Canadian ice hockey player

Rebecca Vint is a Canadian-born women's ice hockey player. She played with the Robert Morris Colonials women's ice hockey program and graduated as the program's all-time leading scorer, with 73 goals and 134 points. She most recently played with the NWHL’s Buffalo Beauts in the 2017–18 season. Vint previously played with the CWHL's Brampton Thunder and participated in the 3rd CWHL All-Star Game.

The RIT Tigers represented the Rochester Institute of Technology in College Hockey America during the 2016-17 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season.

Brittany Howard is a Canadian ice hockey player, currently playing in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) with the Toronto Six. She played college ice hockey with the Robert Morris Colonials women's ice hockey program and was the first Colonial player to win the CHA Player of the Year award.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Kaitlin Burt</span> American ice hockey goaltender

Kaitlin "Katie" Burt is an American ice hockey goaltender, currently playing in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) with the Metropolitan Riveters. She was selected first overall by the Boston Pride in the 2017 NWHL Draft.

The 2020–21 Penn State Nittany Lions women's Hockey Team represented Penn State University in CHA women's ice hockey during the 2019-20 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The season was Jeff Kampersall's third as head coach, and the team has established itself as a competitive program under his tutelage. The Nittany Lions were challenged by the season ending injury to goaltender, Jenna Brenneman, during the first weekend of play. Brenneman had the eighth best Goals Asainst Average in the nation in 2018–19. In her absence, junior Chantal Burke emerged as one of the nation's best netminders, assisted by a strong corps of defenders, including freshman Mallory Uihlein, a promising player for Team USA.

The RIT Tigers Women's' Hockey Team represented the Rochester Institute of Technology in College Hockey America during the 2019-20 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. While Chad Davis still shaped his team in his second year, he was able to gain stability with a large influx of underclassmen.

Kendall Cornine is an American ice hockey forward, currently playing in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) with the Metropolitan Riveters.

The RIT Tigers represented the Rochester Institute of Technology in College Hockey America during the 2013-14 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. In only their second year at the Division I level, the Tigers won the CHA Tournament, defeating the Mercyhurst Lakers. NCAA rules prohibited RIT from participation in the NCAA National Championship Tournament, because teams moving to Division I have a two-year probationary period.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Reagan Rust</span> American ice hockey player

Reagan Rust is an American ice hockey player, currently playing in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) the Metropolitan Riveters. She was the first NCAA Division I women's ice hockey player to have come from the state of Mississippi, and is a member of the Beanpot Hall of Fame.
