The 2016 Belgian Cup final, named Croky Cup after the sponsor, was the 61st Belgian Cup final and took place on 20 March 2016 between Club Brugge and Standard Liège. It was the first time the two teams met in the final since the 2006–07 Belgian Cup Final. Standard Liège won the match by 2 goals to 1, with the final goal coming two minutes from time.

    The 1982 European Cup Winners' Cup Final was a football match contested between Barcelona of Spain and Standard Liège of Belgium. It was the final match of the 1981–82 European Cup Winners' Cup and the 22nd European Cup Winners' Cup final. The final was held on 12 May 1982 at Camp Nou in Barcelona, Spain, the home ground of FC Barcelona. Barcelona won the match 2–1 thanks to goals by Allan Simonsen and Quini. The 2nd goal for Barcelona was after a free kick. Barcelona player Quini took the free kick before the referee had blown his whistle. The referee approved this goal. This led to much frustration to the players of Standard. Standard Liège centre back Walter Meeuws was sent off in the final minute after receiving his second yellow card for a foul on Lobo Carrasco due to this incident.

    The 2018 Belgian Cup final, named Croky Cup after the sponsor, was the 63rd Belgian Cup final and took place on 17 March 2018. The match was played between Genk, who qualified on 6 February 2018, and Standard Liège who qualified two days later. In a dull match without many chances, Standard Liège won after extra time with the only goal coming from Renaud Emond at the beginning of extra time. As a result, Standard Liège qualified for the 2018–19 UEFA Europa League Group stage.
