The 2017 Under-19 Asia Cup was the 6th edition of ACC Under-19 Cup. The cricket tournament was held in Malaysia from 10 to 19 November 2017. [1] It was originally scheduled to be held in India, but it was moved after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) refused to travel to India. [2]

Binod Kumar Das is a Nepalese former cricketer and a former captain of Nepal national cricket team. All-rounder Binod is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. He made his debut for Nepal against UAE in November 2000.
Shakti Prasad Gauchan is a Nepalese former professional cricketer. An all-rounder, Shakti is a right-handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox spinner. He is considered as the best Nepali left arm orthodox bowler in Nepalese cricket history especially on t20 worlcup 2014. He was only the second Nepalese cricketer to score an international century, when he slammed an unbeaten 106 off 103 balls against Italy during the ICC World Cup Qualifying Series in February 2005.

The 2015 ICC Under-19 World Cup Qualifier was an international cricket tournament played in Malaysia from 14 to 22 October 2015, forming part of the 2015–16 international season. The tournament was originally going to be held in Nepal, but was moved to Malaysia due to the April 2015 earthquake. Nepal defeated Ireland in the tournament final to qualify for the 2016 Under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh. In January 2016, Australia withdrew their team from the World Cup and Ireland, as runners-up in the qualifier, replaced them.

The 2018 Asia Cup was a One-Day International (ODI) cricket tournament that was held in the United Arab Emirates in September 2018. It was the 14th edition of the Asia Cup and the third time the tournament was played in the United Arab Emirates, after the 1984 and 1995 tournaments. India were the defending champions, and retained their title, after beating Bangladesh by three wickets in the final.

The 2018 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament held in New Zealand from 13 January till 3 February 2018. It was the twelfth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the third to be held in New Zealand after the 2002 and the 2010 events. New Zealand became the first country to host the event thrice. The opening ceremony took place on 7 January 2018. The West Indies were the defending champions. However, they failed to defend their title, after losing their first two group fixtures.
Dipendra Singh Airee is a Nepalese cricketer. In August 2018, he was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first-ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands. During the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, Airee scored the fastest fifty in T20Is, off just 9 balls, against Mongolia. In April 2024, he became the only third player in T20Is to hit six consecutive sixes in an over, doing it against Qatar in the ACC Premier Cup. Considered as one of Nepal's finest All-rounders, he is currently the second best T20I all-rounder in the world according to the ICC Men's Player Rankings. He is also dubbed as “The Tiger” for his aggressive batting, bowling and fielding skills.
The 2017 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup was the second edition of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup held in Bangladesh. Eight teams participated in the tournament including four under-23 age level teams of Test nations and four top associate teams from Asia.This Competition was organized by ACC.

The 2018 Under-19 Asia Cup was the 7th edition of ACC Under-19 Cup. The cricket tournament was held in Bangladesh from 29 September to 7 October at Chittagong and Cox's Bazar. 8 teams participated in the tournament, including 5 full members and three qualifiers. Afghanistan were the defending champions but failed to defend their title after a loss against Sri Lanka in the semi-finals. India defeated Sri Lanka by 144 runs in the final to win the tournament for the 6th time.

The 2018 Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup was the seventh edition of the ACC Women's Asia Cup, organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). It took place between 3 and 10 June 2018 in Malaysia, and was the third edition played as a 20-over tournament. The tournament was contested between Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Thailand. India were the defending champions.
Naseem Shah is a Pakistani international cricketer. In October 2019, at the age of 16, he was called up to the Pakistan cricket team for their Test series against Australia. He made his international debut for Pakistan in November 2019 against Australia, becoming the ninth-youngest player to make his debut in Test cricket. In December 2019, in the second Test match against Sri Lanka, he became the second youngest bowler to take a five-wicket haul in a Test match, and also the youngest pace bowler to do so. In February 2020, in the first Test against Bangladesh, he became the youngest bowler to take a hat-trick in a Test match.

The 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup was the third edition of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup held in Karachi, Pakistan and Colombo, Sri Lanka. Eight teams participated in the tournament including five under-23 age level teams of Test nations and top three teams from 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier. This tournament was organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Initially, Pakistan was sole host for the tournament but India and BCCI refused to send Indian players to Pakistan. Following the increasing political tensions between India and Pakistan, ACC announced that Sri Lanka would be the co-host whilst India's matches and knockout stage will be played there. The U-23 teams from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan qualified for the semi-finals. Sri Lanka's U-23 defeated India U-23 by 3 runs in the final to win the tournament.

He made his Twenty20 debut on 16 January 2021, for Maharashtra in the 2020–21 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He made his List A debut on 21 February 2021, for Maharashtra in the 2020–21 Vijay Hazare Trophy. In December 2021, he was named in India's team for the 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in the West Indies.
