The 2017 Oregon State Beavers Football Team represented Oregon State University during the 2017 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team played their home games on campus at Reser Stadium in Corvallis, Oregon as a member of the North Division of the Pac-12 Conference.
The Beavers entered the season with Gary Andersen as coach in his third year. After his squad opened with losses in five of their first six games, with their only win against Portland State, Andersen agreed to resign as coach. The team promoted second year cornerbacks coach, Cory Hall, to interim head coach.
They finished the season 1–11, 0–9 in Pac-12 play to finish in last place in the North Division.
In the Pac-12 preseason media poll, the Beavers were picked to finish in fifth place in the North Division.

The Oregon State Beavers are the athletic teams that represent Oregon State University, located in Corvallis, Oregon. The Beavers compete at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level as a member of the Pac-12 Conference. Oregon State's mascot is Benny the Beaver. Both the men's and women's teams share the name, competing in 7 NCAA Division I men's sports and 9 NCAA Division I women's sports respectively. The official colors for the athletics department are Beaver Orange, black, and white.
Cory Hall is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head coach at Edison High School in Fresno, California. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the third round of the 1999 NFL Draft. He played college football at Fresno State. Hall also played for the Atlanta Falcons. In 2017, Hall served as Oregon State's interim head football coach for six games after Gary Andersen abruptly resigned.

The team was led by first-year head coach Willie Taggart, until he departed at the end of the regular season to accept the head coaching position at Florida State. Co-offensive coordinator Mario Cristobal was promoted to interim head coach before being officially hired as head coach on December 8, 2017. Oregon played their home games at Autzen Stadium for the 51st straight year. They competed as a member of the Pac-12 Conference in the North Division. They finished the season 7–6, 4–5 in Pac-12 play to finish in fourth place in the North Division. They were invited to the Las Vegas Bowl where they lost to Boise State.

They defeated Utah in the first round of the Pac-12 tournament and were set to take on rival Oregon in the quarterfinals before the remainder of the Pac-12 Tournament was cancelled amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
