The 2017 Tennessee Volunteers baseball team represented the University of Tennessee in the 2017 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Volunteers played their home games at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The team was coached by Dave Serrano in his sixth season as head coach at Tennessee. Three games prior to the end of the season, Serrano announced that he will resign at its conclusion. [1]

The Tennessee Volunteers Men's Basketball Team is the collegiate men's basketball program for the University of Tennessee–Knoxville. The Volunteers play their home games in Thompson–Boling Arena, on a court nicknamed "the Summitt", after former Tennessee Lady Vols basketball coach Pat Summitt. Stephen Carr Smith is an American baseball coach and former pitcher. He is the upper-level pitching coordinator for the Detroit Tigers. He played college baseball at Baylor University from 1982 to 1983. He was the head coach at Baylor (1995–2015) and Tennessee Tech (2020–2021).
