The girls' doubles tournament of the 2018 Badminton Asia Junior Championships was held from July 18 to 22. [1] The defending champion of the last edition were Baek Ha-na and Lee Yu-rim from South Korea. The top seeds in this event this year are the returning silver medallists Liu Xuanxuan / Xia Yuting from China, Agatha Imanuela / Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti of Indonesia seeded in the second place. Gregoria Mariska, Yeo Jia Min and Pattarasuda Chaiwan were the top 3 seeded this year. Han Yue of China emerged as the champion after beat Chaiwan of Thailand in the finals with the score 21–15, 21–13.

Ribka Sugiarto is an Indonesian badminton player specializing in doubles. Born in Karanganyar, she was selected to join the Djarum club in 2013. Sugiarto was the gold medalist at the 2018 Asian Junior Championships partnered with Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma, and won her first senior international title in 2019 Indonesia Masters, a Super 100 tournament with Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.
