The 2018 Liga 3 East Kalimantan is the third edition of Liga 3 (formerly known as Liga Nusantara) East Kalimantan as a qualifying round for the national round of 2018 Liga 3. PSAD Mulawarman, winner of the 2017 Liga 3 East Kalimantan are the defending champions. The competition started on 22 April 2018. [1]

Format

In this competition, 19 teams are divided into 3 groups. The two or three best teams are through to knockout stage. The winner will represent East Kalimantan in the national round of 2018 Liga 3.

Bontang Football Club is an Indonesian professional football team located in Bontang, East Kalimantan in the island of Borneo. The homebase is Mulawarman Stadium. After managers meeting on 27 January, PT Liga Indonesia decided that the Premier Division will begin on 15 April 2014 and will end on 27 November 2014.

The 2014 Liga Indonesia First Division season is the last (19th) edition of Liga Indonesia First Division before the league merged with the Liga Nusantara on 2015 season. After removal of Badan Liga Sepakbola Amatir Indonesia (BLAI) First Division this season is managed by PSSI competition committee and further delegated to the PT. Liga Indonesia (LI).

2017 Liga 3 (Indonesia)

The 2017 Liga 3 Indonesia season was the 2nd season of lower-tier and the inaugural season of the third-tier competition in Indonesia with the new name Liga 3.

The 2018 season was the Sriwijaya's 12th season in the club's football history. Along with Liga 1, the club will compete in Piala Indonesia. In the pre-season, Sriwijaya attended two competitions, 2018 Indonesia President's Cup and 2018 East Kalimantan Governor's Cup with resulted in third place and champion respectively.

2018 East Kalimantan Governor Cup or 2018 East Borneo Governor Cup was the second edition of East Kalimantan Governor Cup football championship, which was held by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) as pre-season tournament during 2018 Liga 1 season break. The tournament was started on 23 February 2018 and ended on 4 March 2018. The broadcasting rights were granted solely to MNCTV.

The 2018 Liga 3 Central Java is the third edition of Liga 3 Central Java as a qualifying round for the national round of 2018 Liga 3. Persik Kendal, winner of the 2017 Liga 3 Central Java are the defending champions. The competition began on 25 March 2018.

The 2018 Liga 3 West Java is the third edition of Liga 3 West Java as a qualifying round for the national round of 2018 Liga 3. PSKC Cimahi, winner of the 2017 Liga 3 West Java are the defending champions. The competition started on 29 April 2018.

The 2018 Liga 3 Southeast Sulawesi is the first edition of Liga 3 Southeast Sulawesi as a qualifying round for the national round of 2018 Liga 3. The competition will begin on 22 April 2018.

2015 North Kalimantan gubernatorial election

A gubernatorial election was held across the province of North Kalimantan on 8 December 2015, to elect the province's governor for the 2016-2021 five-year term. There were two pairs contesting the election, and Irianto Lambrie who had previously taken a temporary post as the province's governor defeated former Tarakan mayor Jusuf Serang Kasim.

2018 East Kalimantan gubernatorial election

The 2018 East Kalimantan gubernatorial election took place on 27 June 2018 as part of the simultaneous local elections. It was held to elect the governor of East Kalimantan alongside with their deputy, whilst members of the provincial council will be re-elected in 2019.

Hadi Mulyadi Indonesian politician

Hadi Mulyadi is an Indonesian politician who is the vice governor of East Kalimantan. Previously, he had served as a member of both the provincial council and the People's Representative Council.

The 2018 Liga 1 U-16 was the first season of the Liga 1 Elite Pro Academy U-16. The league is currently the youth level (U-16) football league in Indonesia. The season started on 15 September 2018 and finished on 9 December 2018.

The 2019 Liga 3 Regional Round was played from 18 November to 5 December 2019. A total of 81 teams competed in the regional round to decide 26 of the 32 places in the national round of the 2019 Liga 3.

The 2020 Liga 3 would be the fourth season of the Liga 3 under its current name, the fifth season under its current league structure, and the only amateur league football competition in Indonesia. But cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia.
