The 2018 Michigan Wolverines men's soccer team is the college's 19th season of playing organized men's college soccer. It is the Wolverines' 19th season playing in the Big Ten Conference.
Michigan finished 1st in the Big Ten Conference regular season in 2017 with a 12–6–2 overall record and a 6–1–1 in-conference record. [1] Michigan won in the quarterfinal of the Big Ten Tournament against Northwestern but lost in the semifinal to eventual champion Wisconsin. [2] The team earned a spot in the NCAA tournament as a seeded team, and received a bye to the second round. However, the team lost to Colgate 2–3. [3]

The Big Ten Conference is the oldest Division I collegiate athletic conference in the United States. Founded as the Intercollegiate Conference of Faculty Representatives in 1896, it predates the founding of its regulating organization, the NCAA. It is based in the Chicago area in Rosemont, Illinois. For many decades the conference consisted of 10 prominent universities, which accounts for its name. As of 2014, it consists of 14 member institutions and 2 affiliate institutions, with 4 new member institutions scheduled to join in 2024. The conference competes in the NCAA Division I and its football teams compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), formerly known as Division I-A, the highest level of NCAA competition in that sport.
The 2012 Indiana Hoosiers men's soccer team was the college's 40th season playing organized men's college soccer.
The 2013 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament was the 55th edition of the tournament. The four team College Cup finals tournament was held at PPL Park in Chester, Pennsylvania on December 13 and 15, 2013. On December 15, Notre Dame defeated Maryland, 2–1, to win its first national title.

The program was coached by 10th year head coach, Damon Rensing. It was the 63rd season the university fielded a men's varsity soccer team, and their 28th season in the Big Ten Conference.

It determined the Big Ten Conference's automatic berth into the 2018 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. Wisconsin enters the tournament as the defending champions. The Number 1 Seeded Indiana beat the number 3 seeded Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament Championship Game 3 to 0. Indiana won its 13th Big Ten Tournament title.
The 2020 Indiana Hoosiers men's soccer team represents Indiana University Bloomington in men's college soccer during the 2020 NCAA Division I men's soccer season and 2020 Big Ten Conference men's soccer season. It was the 48th season the university fielded a men's varsity soccer program, and the 30th season the program played in the Big Ten Conference. Indiana played their home games at Bill Armstrong Stadium and were coached by 11th-year head coach, Todd Yeagley.
The 2020 Maryland Terrapins men's soccer team represents the University of Maryland, College Park during the 2020 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. It is the 75th season of the university fielding a program. The Terrapins are led by 28th year head coach, Sasho Cirovski.
The 2020–21 Big Ten men's basketball season began with practices in October 2020, followed by the start of the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November 2020. The regular season ended in March 2021.
The 2021 Big Ten men's soccer tournament was the 31st edition of the tournament. As the tournament champion, Penn State earned the Big Ten Conference's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament.
The 2022–23 Big Ten men's basketball season was the season for Big Ten Conference basketball teams that began with practices in October 2022, followed by the start of the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November 2022. The regular season ended in March 2023.
The 2023 Big Ten Conference men's soccer season will be the 32nd season of college soccer play for the Big Ten Conference and part of the 2023 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. This was the Big Ten's eleventh season with eight men's soccer teams, as in 2024, UCLA and Washington will join the conference.
