The 2018–19 IUPUI Jaguars men's basketball team represented Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Jaguars, led by fifth-year head coach Jason Gardner, played their home games at Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, Indiana as second-year members of the Horizon League. They finished the season 16–17, 8–10 in Horizon League play to finish in a three-way tie for sixth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Horizon League tournament to Wright State. They were invited to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament where they lost in the first round to Marshall.
The Jaguars finished the season 11–19, 8–10 in Horizon League play to finish in a tie for fifth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Horizon League tournament to Oakland.
The season marked the first season as members of the Horizon League as IUPUI replaced Valparaiso who left the Horizon League to join the Missouri Valley Conference.

The Horizon League is an 11-school collegiate athletic conference in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I, whose members are located in and near the Great Lakes region.
The IUPUI Jaguars are the 18 intercollegiate teams that represent Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, in Indianapolis, Indiana, U.S. They compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. On July 1, 2017, IUPUI left the Summit League to move to the Horizon League in all sports. The Jaguars were formerly known as the IUPUI Metros.

The 2009–10 IUPUI Jaguars men's basketball team represented the Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis in the 2009–2010 NCAA Division I basketball season. The Jaguars were coached by Ron Hunter and played their home games at IUPUI Gymnasium, also known as The Jungle in Indianapolis, IN and played three home games plus one exhibition game at Conseco Fieldhouse. The Jaguars are members of The Summit League. They finished the season 25–11, 15–3 in Summit League play and advanced to the championship game of the 2010 The Summit League men's basketball tournament before losing to Oakland. They were invited to the 2010 College Basketball Invitational, only the second time the school has ever participated in a post season tournament, where they advanced to the quarterfinals before losing to Princeton.
