Otokonoko is a Japanese term for men who have a culturally feminine gender expression. This includes, among others, males with feminine appearances, or those cross-dressing. "Otokonoko" is a play on the word 男の子, which is also pronounced otokonoko; in the slang term, the kanji for "child" (子) is substituted with "daughter"/"girl" (娘).

I Think I Turned My Childhood Friend into a Girl, known in Japan as Koisuru (Otome) no Tsukurikata,, also known as OtoTsuku (おとつく) for short, is an otokonoko romantic comedy manga series by Azusa Banjo, published by Ichijinsha in Comic Pool and in collected tankōbon volumes. It was originally released through Banjo's Twitter account starting on December 26, 2019, as Osananajimi (♂) o Onnanoko ni Shiteshimatta Hanashi, and was picked up for serialization due to positive reader response. An English translation has been released by Seven Seas Entertainment since June 2022, but has been controversial for its treatment of the character Hiura.

Amachin wa Jishou Osu is a Japanese otokonoko romantic comedy manga series by Akane Terai, which has been serialized by Kodansha in their magazine Shonen Magazine Edge from June 2017 to April 2023. Kodansha has also collected it in eleven tankōbon volumes. The story follows Amachin, a feminine young man who is attracted to his friend Tatsumi, and tries to make him like him back by dressing and acting cutely. The series was well received by readers and critics for its title character.

Waai! is a Japanese manga magazine which was published by Ichijinsha from April 24, 2010 to February 25, 2014, for 16 issues. The manga in Waai! focus on male characters who engage in cross-dressing, willingly or due to circumstance; the magazine also includes articles, interviews, and reviews. Its sister magazine Waai! Mahalo (わぁい!Mahalo) was published for 6 issues from April 25, 2012 to December 25, 2013, and only contains manga.

The story follows Cocoa, a young man who dresses up like a woman to join a monthly meetup; he finds himself attracted to Opera, another member of the group, who turns out to also be a cross-dressing man.

Crossplay Love: Otaku x Punk, known in Japan as Josou-shite Mendokusai Koto ni Natteru Nekura to Yankee no Ryou Kataomoi and abbreviated Nekuyan, is a Japanese romantic comedy manga series written and drawn by Toru, originally released independently since April 18, 2018, and published by Mag Garden on MAGXIV since September 10, 2018. The series is also published in collected tankōbon volumes, which are released in English by Seven Seas Entertainment since September 2022.

<i>Senpai Is an Otokonoko</i> Japanese manga series

Senpai Is an Otokonoko, also known as This Is Him or Senpai Is an Otokonoko: My Crossdressing Classmate, is a Japanese romance manga series written and illustrated by Pom. It was serialized digitally through Line Manga from 2019 to 2021 as a weekly series, and is collected in tankōbon print volumes by Ichijinsha since 2021. The story follows a love triangle involving Makoto Hanaoka, a cross-dresser; Saki Aoi, a bisexual younger student; and Ryuji Taiga, a childhood friend of Makoto's. Senpai Is an Otokonoko received an official English translation by Webtoon beginning on March 9, 2023. An anime television series adaptation produced by Project No.9 aired from July to September 2024 on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block. An anime film titled Eiga Senpai wa Otokonoko: Ame Nochi Hare is set to premiere in February 2025.

Kimi ga Shinu Made Ato Hyaku Nichi is a Japanese web manga series written and illustrated by Migihara. It was serialized on Shueisha's online platform Manga Mee from November 2018 to October 2020. The story follows Rintarou Tsuda, a high school student with the ability to see longevity, and Umi Kanzaki, a high school girl with less than 100 days left to live. Migihara described the series as "a story about the battle against longevity and fate". A television drama adaptation aired from October to December 2023.

<i>Otokonoko Zuma</i> Japanese manga series

Otokonoko Zuma is a slice-of-life romantic comedy manga series written and drawn by Crystal na Yousuke. Shogakukan serialized it through its webcomic platform Sunday Webry from July 15, 2016, to January 31, 2020, and released it across three collected tankōbon volumes between 2017 and 2020.

<i>Promise Cinderella</i> Japanese manga series

Promise Cinderella is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Oreco Tachibana. It was serialized in Shogakukan's Ura Sunday website and MangaONE app from January 2018 to March 2022, with its chapters collected into 16 tankōbon volumes. A television drama adaptation aired from July to September 2021.

A manga adaptation by Noyama Carpaccio began serialization in Square Enix's Gangan Online web service in February 2022. An anime television series adaptation produced by ENGI aired from October to December 2023.
