The 2021 Atlantic 10 Conference Baseball Tournament was held from May 27 through May 29 at The Diamond in Richmond, Virginia, hosted by Virginia Commonwealth University. The annual tournament determined the tournament champion of Division I Atlantic 10 Conference in college baseball for the 2021 season. The tournament champion will then earn the conference's automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. [2]

The Southern Conference (SoCon) is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I. Southern Conference football teams compete in the Football Championship Subdivision. Member institutions are located in the states of Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
The 2007 Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Tournament was held at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville in Jacksonville, FL from May 23 through May 27. North Carolina won the tournament and earned the Atlantic Coast Conference's automatic bid to the 2007 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. This was the first year the conference used the round robin tournament setup. The best record of each group at the end of the round robin would face each other in a one-game match for the championship.
The 2006 Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Tournament was held at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville in Jacksonville, FL from May 24 through May 28. Clemson won the tournament and earned the Atlantic Coast Conference's automatic bid to the 2006 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. This was the last edition of the tournament to use the double-elimination format. The ACC converted the tournament to a round robin format in 2007.
The 2008 Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Tournament was held at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida from May 21 through May 25. The #1 seeded University of Miami won the tournament with a perfect 4-0 record, earning the Atlantic Coast Conference's automatic bid to the 2008 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. It was Miami's first conference championship in baseball after having played as an independent until joining the ACC during the 2004-05 academic year.
The 2009 Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Tournament was held at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, NC from May 20 through May 24. It was the first time the tournament has been played at the ballpark since 1999 and fourth time overall since the ballpark opened in 1995. The #6 seeded Virginia Cavaliers won the tournament with a perfect 4–0 record, earning the Atlantic Coast Conference's automatic bid to the 2009 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. It was Virginia's first conference championship in baseball since 1996, and their second tournament championship ever.
The 2010 Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Tournament was held at NewBridge Bank Park in Greensboro, NC from May 26 through May 30. The #5 seeded Florida State Seminoles won the tournament and earned the Atlantic Coast Conference's automatic bid to the 2010 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. It was Florida State's fifth ACC tournament win and first since 2004. A record 6,247 were in attendance for the championship game.
The 2010 NCAA Division I baseball season, play of college baseball in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level, began on February 19, 2010. The season progressed through the regular season, many conference tournaments and championship series, and concluded with the 2010 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament and 2010 College World Series. The College World Series, which consisted of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA Tournament, was held in its annual location of Omaha, Nebraska. It was the final College World Series held at Omaha's Rosenblatt Stadium, which closed following the event. It concluded on June 30, 2010, with the final game of the best of three championship series. South Carolina defeated UCLA two games to none to claim their first championship, which was also South Carolina's first national championship in any men's sport.

The College World Series, consisting of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA Tournament and held annually in Omaha, Nebraska at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, ended on June 24, 2015, with the final game of the best-of-three championship series between Vanderbilt and Virginia, won by Virginia.

This was the last of 19 athletic championship events held by the conference in the 2014–15 academic year.
The 1996 NCAA Division I baseball season, play of college baseball in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) began in the spring of 1996. The season progressed through the regular season and concluded with the 1996 College World Series. The College World Series, held for the fiftieth time in 1996, consisted of one team from each of eight regional competitions and was held in Omaha, Nebraska at Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium as a double-elimination tournament. LSU claimed the championship for the third time.
The 1981 Eastern 8 Conference Baseball Championship Series was held on May 8 and 9, 1981 to determine the champion of the NCAA Division I Eastern 8 Conference, renamed in 1982 as the Atlantic 10 Conference, for the 1981 NCAA Division I baseball season. This was the third iteration of the event, and was held on the campus of George Mason in Fairfax, Virginia. Rutgers won the championship.
The 1982 Eastern 8 Conference Baseball Championship Series was held on May 7 and 8, 1982 to determine the champion of the NCAA Division I Eastern 8 Conference, renamed later in 1982 as the Atlantic 10 Conference, for the 1982 NCAA Division I baseball season. This was the fourth iteration of the event, and was held on the campus of Rutgers in Piscataway, New Jersey. West Virginia won the championship two games to one and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 1982 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. For the first time, a Most Valuable Player was named, with Jeff Wilson of West Virginia earning the honor.
The 1984 Atlantic Conference Baseball Tournament was held from May 5 through 13, 1984 to determine the champion of the NCAA Division I the Atlantic 10 Conference, for the 1984 NCAA Division I baseball season. This was the sixth iteration of the event, and was held at Erny Field, home field of Temple in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Defending champion Temple won their second championship and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 1984 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.

The 2021 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament was the 74th edition of the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship. The 64-team tournament began on Friday, June 4, 2021, as part of the 2021 NCAA Division I baseball season and concluded with the 2021 College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, which started on June 19 and ended on June 30. Mississippi State defeated Vanderbilt in the best-of-three final series to win their first national championship in program history.
The 2022 VCU Rams baseball team will represent Virginia Commonwealth University during the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Rams played their home games at The Diamond as a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference. They were led by head coach Shawn Stiffler, in his 10th season at VCU.
The 2022 Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Tournament will be held from May 24 through May 29 at Truist Field in Charlotte, North Carolina. The annual tournament will determine the conference champion of the Division I Atlantic Coast Conference for college baseball. The tournament champion, will receive the league's automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
