The 2021 Horizon League Baseball Tournament was held from May 27 through May 29 at Nischwitz Stadium in Fairborn, Ohio on the campus of Wright State University. The annual tournament determines the tournament champion of Division I Horizon League in college baseball. The tournament champion will then earn the conference's automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. [2]

The Horizon League is an 11-school collegiate athletic conference in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I, whose members are located in and near the Great Lakes region.
The Eastern Illinois Panthers are the intercollegiate athletic programs of Eastern Illinois University (EIU) located in Charleston, Illinois, United States. The Panthers athletic program is a member of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) and competes at the NCAA Division I level in the Football Championship Subdivision. EIU's colors are blue and gray. Selected as the team mascot in 1930, EIU's panther was informally known as "Billy" for many years and was officially named "Billy the Panther" in 2008. Panther teams have won five NCAA national championships in three sports. The Panthers also won the 1969 NAIA men's soccer title.
The Valparaiso Beacons is the name of the athletic teams from Valparaiso University – often referred to as Valpo – in Valparaiso, Indiana, United States. The Beacons compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level and are members of the Missouri Valley Conference in all sports except football, bowling, and men's swimming.
The Oakland University Golden Grizzlies are the athletic teams that represent Oakland University (OU) in the Horizon League and Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The school fields 16 teams: baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's golf, men's and women's soccer, softball, men's and women's swimming and diving, women's tennis, men's and women's track, and women's volleyball.
The Youngstown State Penguins are the athletic teams of Youngstown State University of Youngstown, Ohio. The university is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's (NCAA) Division I, and the Penguins compete in football as members of the Missouri Valley Football Conference. Most other sports compete as members of the Horizon League.
The Wright State Raiders are the athletics teams of Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio. The school currently participates in ten sports at the Division I level of the NCAA and are members of the Horizon League. The school's mascot is a wolf.
The Loyola Ramblers are the varsity sports teams of Loyola University Chicago. Most teams compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference, which the school joined in 2022 after leaving the Missouri Valley Conference. They previously played in the Horizon League. Notable athletes from Loyola have included middle-distance runner Tom O'Hara, volleyball player Thomas Jaeschke, and basketball players Mike Novak, Jerry Harkness, Les Hunter, Wayne Sappleton, Alfredrick Hughes, LaRue Martin, and Blake Schilb. The nickname "Ramblers" was first used in 1926. The Loyola Ramblers departed from the Missouri Valley Conference and joined the Atlantic 10 Conference effective July 1, 2022.
The Wright State Raiders men's basketball is the men's college basketball team that represents Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio. The school's team currently competes in the Horizon League at the NCAA Division I level. The Raiders won their only national championship in 1983 as an NCAA Division II school. They have made a total of four NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament appearances. The Raiders play their home games at the Nutter Center and are led by head coach Scott Nagy.
The 2010 NCAA Division I baseball season, play of college baseball in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level, began on February 19, 2010. The season progressed through the regular season, many conference tournaments and championship series, and concluded with the 2010 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament and 2010 College World Series. The College World Series, which consisted of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA Tournament, was held in its annual location of Omaha, Nebraska. It was the final College World Series held at Omaha's Rosenblatt Stadium, which closed following the event. It concluded on June 30, 2010, with the final game of the best of three championship series. South Carolina defeated UCLA two games to none to claim their first championship, which was also South Carolina's first national championship in any men's sport.
Nischwitz Stadium is a baseball venue located in Fairborn, Ohio, United States. It is home to the Wright State Raiders baseball team of the NCAA's Division I Horizon League. The facility has chairback seating for 750 spectators.
The Horizon League Baseball Championship is the conference baseball tournament of the NCAA Division I Horizon League. Through the 2019 season, all Horizon League baseball teams participated in the modified double-elimination tournament, which is hosted by the regular season champion of the league. The winner of the tournament receives an automatic berth to the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.
The 2013 Horizon League Baseball Tournament was held from May 22–25. All five of the league's teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at Youngstown State University's Eastwood Field. Valparaiso won their second tournament championship and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.

The top six finishers of the league's seven teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at the home field of the regular season champion. The winner of the tournament earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2017 Horizon League Baseball Tournament was held from May 24 through 27 at Les Miller Field at Curtis Granderson Stadium in Chicago, home to conference regular-season champion UIC. The top six finishers of the league's seven teams met in the double-elimination tournament. UIC won the tournament to earn the conference's automatic bid to the 2017 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2018 Horizon League Baseball Tournament was held from May 23–26. All six of the league's teams will meet in the double-elimination tournament to be held at the home field of the regular season champion. The winner of the tournament will earn the conference's automatic bid to the 2018 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2019 Horizon League Baseball Tournament was held from May 22–25. All six of the league's teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at the home field of the regular season champion. The winner of the tournament, UIC, earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2011 Horizon League Baseball Tournament took place from May 22–26, near the close of the 2011 NCAA Division I baseball season. The top six of the league's seven teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at Wright State's Nischwitz Stadium in Dayton, Ohio. Top seeded Wright State won their fourth Horizon League Championship and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2011 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.

The College World Series, consisting of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA Tournament and held annually in Omaha, Nebraska at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, ended on June 30, 2021. The Mississippi State Bulldogs won the tournament, and were consequently named national champions.

Mississippi State defeated Vanderbilt in the best-of-three final series to win their first national championship in program history.
