Jenson Tyler "J. T." Brooksby is an American inactive professional tennis player. He reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 33 on 13 June 2022.
Dominic Thiem defeated Roger Federer in the final, 3–6, 6–3, 7–5 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2019 Indian Wells Masters. It was his maiden ATP Tour Masters 1000 title, and he became the first Austrian to win a Masters title since Thomas Muster won the 1997 Miami Open.
Hubert Hurkacz defeated Jannik Sinner in the final, 7–6(7–4), 6–4 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2021 Miami Open. It was his first Masters 1000 singles title, and he became the first Pole to win a Masters 1000 singles title.
Rafael Nadal defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final, 6–4, 6–7(6–8), 7–5 to win the singles title at the 2021 Barcelona Open. Nadal saved a championship point en route to his record-extending 12th Barcelona Open title and 61st ATP Tour singles title on clay. It became the second tournament at which Nadal had earned 12 or more victories, after the French Open. At three hours and 38 minutes, the final match was at the time the longest best-of-three-sets tour-level final since the ATP began tracking statistics in 1991, until the 2023 Cincinnati Masters final. Tsitsipas, who had also lost to Nadal in his first career ATP singles final at this tournament in 2018, was in contention to win his first ATP 500 tournament title on his seventh attempt.

It was his record-extending sixth Paris Masters title and record-breaking 37th ATP Tour Masters 1000 title overall, surpassing Rafael Nadal's tally in the latter category.
Taylor Fritz defeated Rafael Nadal in the final, 6–3, 7–6(7–5) to win the men's singles title at the 2022 Indian Wells Masters. It was his first Masters 1000 title and second career title overall. Fritz became the first American to win the title since Andre Agassi in 2001, and ended Nadal's 20-match winning streak, dating back to the 2022 Melbourne Open.

It was his first Masters 1000 title, and his first title overall since the 2018 Halle Open. Ranked No. 152 in the world and using a protected ranking for entry, Ćorić became the lowest ranked player to win a Masters event since the series' inception in 1990. He defeated five seeded players en route to the title.
Alex de Minaur defeated Jenson Brooksby in the final, 6–3, 6–3 to win the singles title at the 2022 Atlanta Open. It was de Minaur's second Atlanta title, the first being in 2019.
Carlos Alcaraz defeated Daniil Medvedev in the final, 6–3, 6–2 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2023 Indian Wells Masters. He did not drop a set en route to his third Masters 1000 title and eighth ATP Tour title overall. With the win, he regained the world No. 1 singles ranking from Novak Djokovic, who was unable to enter the United States due to being unvaccinated for COVID-19. Alcaraz also ended the 19-match winning streak of Medvedev, who was the first Russian to contest the final since Andrei Chesnokov in 1992.
Daniil Medvedev defeated Jannik Sinner in the final, 7–5, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2023 Miami Open. It was his fifth career Masters 1000 title, fourth title of 2023, and 19th career title overall. He became only the ninth man to win five Masters titles.

Alcaraz became the first player to defend the title since Novak Djokovic in 2016, and the eighth overall; he was the second player to do so before turning 21, after Boris Becker in 1988.
Jannik Sinner defeated Grigor Dimitrov in the final, 6–3, 6–1 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2024 Miami Open. It was his second ATP Masters 1000 title and 13th career ATP Tour title. Sinner became the first Italian singles player, male or female, to win the Miami Open. With the win, Sinner achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 2, being the first Italian player of either gender to do so. Sinner became the first player to reach at least the quarterfinals in his first four appearances at the Miami Open since Stefan Edberg in 1991. Aged 22, Sinner also became the youngest player to reach three Miami finals, after two previous finals in 2021 and 2023.
