Dominic Thiem defeated Roger Federer in the final, 3–6, 6–3, 7–5 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2019 Indian Wells Masters. It was his maiden ATP Tour Masters 1000 title, and he became the first Austrian to win a Masters title since Thomas Muster won the 1997 Miami Open.

Djokovic became the first new singles titlist on the ATP Tour since its suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.

Hubert Hurkacz defeated Jannik Sinner in the final, 7–6(7–4), 6–4 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2021 Miami Open. Hurkacz claimed his first Masters 1000 singles championship and became the first Pole to win a Masters 1000 singles title.

Rafael Nadal defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final, 6–4, 6–7(6–8), 7–5 to win the singles title at the 2021 Barcelona Open. Nadal saved a championship point en route to his record-extending 12th Barcelona Open title and 61st ATP Tour singles title on clay. It became the second tournament at which Nadal had earned 12 or more victories, after the French Open. At three hours and 38 minutes, the final match was at the time the longest best-of-three-set tour-level final ever recorded since the ATP began tracking statistics in 1991, until the 2023 Cincinnati Masters final. Tsitsipas, who had also lost to Nadal in his first career ATP singles final at this tournament in 2018, was in contention to win his first ATP 500 tournament title on his seventh attempt.

Alex de Minaur was the reigning champion from when the tournament was last held in 2019, but chose not to participate this year.

Alexander Zverev defeated Andrey Rublev in the final, 6–2, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2021 Cincinnati Masters. It was his fifth Masters 1000 title and 17th career singles title on the ATP Tour.

The 2021 European Open was a men's tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the sixth edition of the European Open and part of the ATP Tour 250 series of the 2021 ATP Tour. It took place at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp, Belgium, from 18 October until 24 October 2021.

Novak Djokovic defeated the defending champion Daniil Medvedev in the final, 4–6, 6–3, 6–3 to win the singles tennis title at the 2021 Paris Masters. It was his record-extending sixth Paris Masters title and record-breaking 37th ATP Tour Masters 1000 title overall, surpassing Rafael Nadal's tally in the latter category.

Defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas defeated Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the final, 6–3, 7–6(7–3) to win the singles tennis title at the 2022 Monte-Carlo Masters. He became the sixth player to win consecutive titles at the Monte-Carlo Masters in the Open Era. The win also earned him his second Masters 1000 title and his eighth career singles title overall.

Novak Djokovic defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final, 6–0, 7–6(7–5) to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2022 Italian Open. It was his sixth Italian Open title and record-extending 38th Masters 1000 title overall. Djokovic did not lose a set during the tournament, and won his 1000th ATP Tour-level career match against Casper Ruud in the semifinals.

Taylor Fritz defeated Maxime Cressy in the final, 6–2, 6–7(4–7), 7–6(7–4) to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2022 Eastbourne International.

Borna Ćorić defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final, 7–6(7–0), 6–2 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2022 Cincinnati Masters. It was his first Masters 1000 title, and his first title overall since the 2018 Halle Open. Ranked No. 152 in the world and using a protected ranking for entry, Ćorić became the lowest ranked player to win a Masters event since the series' inception in 1990. He defeated five seeded players en route to the title.

Alex de Minaur defeated Jenson Brooksby in the final, 6–3, 6–3 to win the singles title at the 2022 Atlanta Open. It was de Minaur's second Atlanta title, the first being in 2019.

Brandon Nakashima defeated Marcos Giron in the final, 6–4, 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2022 San Diego Open. It was his maiden ATP Tour title, and he won it in his hometown of San Diego.

Daniil Medvedev defeated Jannik Sinner in the final, 7–5, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2023 Miami Open. It was his fifth ATP Tour Masters 1000 title, fourth title of 2023, and 19th career title overall. He became only the eighth man to win 5 or more ATP Masters Titles.

Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz defeated Jan-Lennard Struff in the final, 6–4, 3–6, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2023 Madrid Open. It was his fourth Masters 1000 title. Struff was the first lucky loser to reach a Masters final.

Jannik Sinner defeated Alex de Minaur in the final, 6–4, 6–1 to win the men's singles title at the 2023 Canadian Open. It was his first ATP Tour Masters 1000 title and eighth ATP Tour singles title overall.
