The 2022 General Tire Delivers 100 was the 13th stock car race of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series season, the 7th race of the 2022 Sioux Chief Showdown, and the 2nd iteration of the event. The race was held on Friday, August 19, 2022, in Watkins Glen, New York at Watkins Glen International, a 2.454 mile (3.949 km) permanent road course. The race took the scheduled 41 laps to complete. After an exciting finish, Brandon Jones, driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, moved Taylor Gray and Sammy Smith for the lead on the final restart, and held on to earn his eighth career ARCA Menards Series win, and his third of the season. [1] Smith would dominate the entire race, leading all but two laps. To fill out the podium, Nick Sanchez, driving for Rev Racing, and Jesse Love, driving for Venturini Motorsports, would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
Watkins Glen International, nicknamed "The Glen", is an automobile race track located in the town of Dix just southwest of the village of Watkins Glen, New York, at the southern tip of Seneca Lake. It was long known around the world as the home of the Formula One United States Grand Prix, which it hosted for twenty consecutive years (1961–1980). In addition, the site has also been home to road racing of nearly every class, including the World Sportscar Championship, Trans-Am, Can-Am, NASCAR Cup Series, the International Motor Sports Association and the IndyCar Series. The facility is currently owned by NASCAR.
The only 60-minute practice session was held on Friday, August 19, at 3:15 PM EST. [2] Sammy Smith, driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports, was the fastest in the session, with a lap of 1:14.293, and an average speed of 118.729 mph (191.076 km/h). [3]

Qualifying is scheduled to be held on Friday, August 19, at 4:25 PM EST. The qualifying system used is a multiple-car, multiple-lap system with only one round. Whoever sets the fastest time in the round wins the pole. Mark M. McFarland is a former NASCAR driver who worked for Kyle Busch Motorsports as the crew chief for their No. 18 car in the ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series East. In 2021, he won championships in both series with Ty Gibbs and Sammy Smith, respectively. In 2022, he and Smith won their second consecutive East Series championship. Mark now lives in Harrisonburg VA with his wife and 4 sons. He and his wife opened a bakery named "Nothing Bundt Cakes."
Chandler Michael Smith Sr. is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 81 Toyota Supra for Joe Gibbs Racing. He was a member of Toyota Racing Development's TD2 driver development system from 2018 until the end of 2022 but rejoined the program starting in 2024.

The race was held on Friday, March 11, 2022, in Avondale, Arizona at Phoenix Raceway, a 1-mile (1.6 km) permanent low-banked tri-oval race track. The race was run over 154 laps due to an overtime finish. Taylor Gray of David Gilliland Racing would win the race after leading 43 laps. This was Gray's first career ARCA Menards Series win and his fourth career west series win. It was an emotional win, as Gray dedicated it to Steven Stotts, the DGR hauler driver who was killed following an accident in Longview, Texas, on March 8. The 2022 General Tire Delivers 200 was the tenth stock car race of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series season, and the 37th iteration of the event. The race was held on Friday, July 22, 2022, in Long Pond, Pennsylvania at Pocono Raceway, a 2.5 mile permanent triangular-shaped racetrack. The race was decreased from 80 laps to 64 laps, due to increasing darkness. Taylor Gray, driving for David Gilliland Racing, would win the race, after leading the race when the final caution came out with 16 laps to go, which was a spin from Jesse Love. Gray would also lead 38 laps. This was Gray's third career ARCA Menards Series, and his third of the season. Sammy Smith, driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports, dominated the entire race, leading 189 laps for his fourth career ARCA Menards Series win, and his eighth career ARCA Menards Series East win, and his ninth win overall this season. The race was held on Friday, November 4, 2022, in Avondale, Arizona at Phoenix Raceway, a 1 mile permanent tr-oval shaped racetrack. The race was increased from 100 laps to 107 laps, due to an overtime finish. Sammy Smith, driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports, would overcome a penalty, and earn his first career ARCA Menards Series West win. He would also dominate the majority of the race, leading 75 laps. In a wild one-lap overtime restart, Jesse Love, driving for Venturini Motorsports, would make a bump-and-run move on Connor Zilisch in the final turn, and held him off to earn his 10th career ARCA Menards Series win, his eighth of the season, and his fourth in a row. Zilisch had dominated the entire race, leading a race-high 34 laps.
