The 2022 IIHF Women's World Championship Division I consisted of two international ice hockey tournaments of the 2022 Women's Ice Hockey World Championships organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). [1] Division I A and Division I B represent the second and third tier of the IIHF World Women's Championship.
All divisions stayed put after all events last year were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [2]
France won Group A and were promoted to the Top Division, while China got promoted after winning the Group B tournament. [3] [4] Due to Russia's exclusion, no team was relegated this season.

The 2017 IIHF Women's World Championship Division II consisted of three international ice hockey tournaments organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Division II A, Division II B and Division II B Qualification represent the fourth, fifth and sixth tier of the IIHF Women's World Championship.
The 2017 IIHF U18 World Championship Division I were two international under-18 ice hockey tournaments organised by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The Division I A and Division I B tournaments represent the second and the third tier of the IIHF World U18 Championship. For the 2017 schedule, both tournaments took place at the Bled Ice Hall in Slovenia.
