Previous season

The Aggies finished 29–27, 9–21 in the SEC to finish in last place in the West. The Aggies were not invited to the postseason. Rob Childress was fired after sixteen seasons as head coach. TCU head coach Jim Schlossnagle was hired on June 9, 2021. ^[1]

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) is an American college athletic conference whose member institutions are located primarily in the South Central and Southeastern United States. Its fourteen members include the flagship public universities of eleven states, two additional public land-grant universities, and one private research university. Texas A&M football claims three national titles and 18 conference titles. The team plays all home games at Kyle Field, a 102,733-person capacity outdoor stadium on the university campus. Jimbo Fisher is the team's head coach.

Jim Schlossnagle is an American baseball coach and former pitcher, who is the current head baseball coach of the Texas A&M Aggies. He played college baseball at Elon from 1986 to 1989 for head coach Rick Jones. He then served as the head coach of the UNLV Rebels (2002–2003) and the TCU Horned Frogs (2004–2021).

The Texas Longhorns baseball team represents The University of Texas at Austin in NCAA Division I intercollegiate men's baseball competition. The Longhorns currently compete in the Big 12 Conference.

The TCU Horned Frogs baseball team represents Texas Christian University in NCAA Division I baseball. The Frogs have competed in the Big 12 Conference since 2013 and previously competed in the Mountain West, Conference USA, Western Athletic Conference and Southwest Conference. Since February 2003, the Horned Frogs have played their home games at Lupton Stadium, located on the TCU campus in Fort Worth, Texas. The Frogs are led by head coach Kirk Saarloos.

The Ole Miss Rebels baseball team represents the University of Mississippi in NCAA Division I college baseball. The team participates in the West Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They are currently coached by Mike Bianco and play at Swayze Field. They have competed in the College World Series six times, with their first national championship coming in 2022.

The Texas A&M Aggie baseball team represents Texas A&M University in NCAA Division I college baseball. The Aggies have competed in the Southeastern Conference since 2013. The Aggies play home games at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. The team is led by head coach Jim Schlossnagle.

The 2010 NCAA Division I baseball tournament began on Friday, June 4, 2010 as part of the 2010 NCAA Division I baseball season. The 64 team double elimination tournament concluded with the 2010 College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. This was the final year at Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium, the host venue since 1950.

The 2014 TCU Horned Frogs baseball team represented Texas Christian University (TCU) in the 2014 college baseball season. TCU competed in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) as a member of the Big 12 Conference. The Horned Frogs played home games at Lupton Stadium on the university's campus in Fort Worth, Texas. Eleventh year head coach Jim Schlossnagle led the Horned Frogs.

They were led by third-year head coach Jimbo Fisher. The Aggies finished the season 9–1 with a final ranking of #4 in both the AP and the Coaches poll.

The 2022–23 Texas A&M Aggies men's basketball team represented Texas A&M University during the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by fourth-year head coach Buzz Williams and played their home games at Reed Arena in College Station, Texas as a member of the Southeastern Conference. They finished the season 25-10, 15–3 in SEC play to finish in second place. As the No. 2 seed in the SEC tournament, they defeated Arkansas and Vanderbilt to advance to the championship game, where they lost to Alabama. The Aggies received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament as a No. 7 seed, where they were defeated in the first round by Penn State.

The 2022 Southeastern Conference baseball season was the baseball season for the Southeastern Conference as part of the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. Tennessee and Texas A&M won the East and West Division regular season titles respectively. In the conference tournament, Tennessee defeated Florida 8–5 in the final to be crowned SEC champions.
