The 2023 KP Oli Cup was the inaugural edition of the KP Oli Cup, the domestic T20 tournament in Nepal. [1] The tournament was contested by teams representing the seven Provinces of Nepal, three departmental teams as well as two organizer teams. It began on 23 November 2023 and ended on 1 December 2023. [2] [3]
Tribhuwan Army Club secured a place in the final after defeating Bagmati Province in the 1st semi-final and Madhesh Province secured their place in final after defeating heavy weight APF Club in the 2nd semi-final. [4] [5]
Madhesh Province became the champion after defeating undefeated tournament favorites Tribhuwam Army Club in the final. [6]
The twelve participants were divided into four groups. [7]

Events in the year 2021 in Nepal.
The 2021 Prime Minister Cup was the fourth edition of the Prime Minister One Day Cup, the premier one-day cricket tournament in Nepal. The tournament was contested by teams representing the seven Provinces of Nepal as well as three departmental teams. It began on 15 January 2021 and ended on 30 January 2021. All matches of the tournament were broadcast live by DishHome's "Action Sports" channel. Nepal Police Club were the defending champions, but were eliminated at the semi-final stage by Armed Police Force Club. Tribhuwan Army Club won the title following a 33-run win over APF Club in the final.
The 2022 Prime Minister Cup was the fifth edition of the Prime Minister One Day Cup, the premier one-day cricket tournament in Nepal. The tournament was contested by teams representing the seven Provinces of Nepal as well as three departmental teams. It began on 30 October 2022 and ended on 12 November 2022. Armed Police Force Club won their second title after defeating defending champions Tribhuwan Army Club in the final.
Nepal participated at the 2022 Asian Games, which was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, from 23 September 2023 to 8 October 2023. The event was originally scheduled from 10 to 25 September 2022 but due to COVID-19 pandemic cases rising in China the event has been postponed and rescheduled to September-October 2023.
The 2023 ACC Women's T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup was the inaugural edition of the ACC Women's T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup played in Hong Kong in June 2023, with all the matches held at the Mission Road Ground in Kowloon. Eight teams took part in the tournament, including the A teams of four nations with ODI status and the next four top associate teams. The tournament was organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).
The 2024 ACC Men's Premier Cup was the second edition of ACC Premier Cup, took place in April 2024. It served as the final stage of qualification for the 2025 Asia Cup Tournament. UAE won the tournament by defeating Oman in the final, and thus qualified for the 2025 Asia Cup. The tournament was contested by teams representing the seven Provinces of Nepal as well as one departmental teams. It began on 21 December 2023 and end on 3 January 2024. The format was changed for the 2023–24 season, with the eight teams competing in a round-robin format with the top four advancing to the play-offs.

Koshi Province Cricket team, and also known as Team Koshi is a Nepali provincial cricket team, based in the Koshi Province of Nepal. The team plays limited overs and 20-over cricket in the Prime Minister One Day Cup. The team is currently being run under the Koshi Province Cricket Association.
The West Indies A cricket team toured Nepal in April and May 2024 to play five T20I matches against Nepal. This tour also marks the first tour to Nepal by any West Indian representative team. The series was part of Nepal's preparation for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
The 2024 Lalitpur Mayor Women's Cup was the fourth edition of the Lalitpur Mayor Women's Cup, the premier Twenty20 cricket tournament in Nepal. The tournament had 5 teams including Lalitpur Mayor's XI along with 4 teams that reached the semi-finals of the Prime Minister's Cup Women's T-20 National Tournament. The Lalitpur Mayor's XI team is formed from the players of remaining four provinces that did not reach the semi-finals of Prime Minister's Cup. All team play with each other's in round-robin format with top two team advancing to the finals.
The 2024–25 Jay Trophy will be the inaugural season of the Jay Trophy, the premier domestic red ball competition is that scheduled to be played in Nepal. The tournament will start on 5 January, 2025, and the final is scheduled to be on 14 January, 2025.
