The 2023–24 Saint Peter's Peacocks men's basketball team represents Saint Peter's University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Peacocks, led by second-year head coach Bashir Mason, play their home games at the Run Baby Run Arena in Jersey City, New Jersey, as members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
The Peacocks finished the 2022–23 season 14–18, 7–13 in MAAC play to finish in tenth place. [1] As the #10 seed in the MAAC tournament, they upset #7 seed Fairfield in the first round [2] and #2 seed Rider in the quarterfinals, [3] before falling to #11 seed Marist in the semifinals. [4]

The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with NCAA Division I. Its current 11 full members are located in four Northeastern states: Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Maryland. It was announced on October 23, 2023 that Sacred Heart University and Merrimack College will join the conference beginning in the 2024-25 season.
The Saint Peter's Peacocks men's basketball team is the NCAA Division I intercollegiate men's basketball program that represents Saint Peter's University in Jersey City, New Jersey. The school's team competes in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and plays their home games in Run Baby Run Arena. They are currently led by second-year head coach Bashir Mason, who was hired on April 12, 2022.

The Peacocks, led by 12th-year head coach John Dunne, played their home games at the Yanitelli Center in Jersey City, New Jersey as members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. They finished the season 14–18 overall, 6–12 in MAAC play to finish in ninth place. As the No. 9 seed at the MAAC tournament, they defeated No. 8 seed Monmouth and upset No. 1 seed Rider to advance to the semifinals, where they lost to No. 4 seed Iona.
The 2017–18 Rider Broncs men's basketball team represented Rider University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Broncs, led by sixth-year head coach Kevin Baggett, played their home games at Alumni Gymnasium in Lawrenceville, New Jersey as members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. They finished the season 22–10, 15–3 in MAAC play to finish in a tie for the MAAC regular season championship with Canisius. After tie breakers, they were the No. 1 seed in the MAAC tournament where they were upset in the quarterfinals by Saint Peter's. As a regular season conference champion, and No. 1 seed in their conference tournament, who failed to win their conference tournament, they received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to Oregon.

They played their home games at the Alumni Gymnasium in Lawrenceville, New Jersey as members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, and were led by seventh year head coach Kevin Baggett. They finished the 2018–19 season 16–15 overall, 11–7 in MAAC play to finish in a four-way tie for second place. As the 4th seed in the 2019 MAAC tournament, they were defeated by No. 5 seed Siena 81–87 in the quarterfinals.

They finished the season 20–10 overall, 15–5 in MAAC play to finish in first place. As the #1 seed in the MAAC tournament, they defeated #9 seed Manhattan 63–49 in the quarterfinals. However, the semifinals and championship game, and all postseason tournaments, were cancelled amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

As the No. 5 seed in the MAAC tournament, they defeated No. 4 seed Marist in the quarterfinals, but lost to No. 9 seed Iona 64–70 in the semifinals.

There they defeated Monmouth to win the tournament championship. As a result, they received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament, for the first time since 2011, as the No. 15 seed in the East region.

The 2021–22 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) men's basketball season began with practices in October 2021, followed by the start of the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season on November 9. Conference play started in December and concluded in March 2022. This was the 41st season of MAAC basketball.
The 2021 MAAC men's soccer tournament was the postseason men's soccer tournament for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference held from November 7 through November 14, 2021. The seven-match tournament took place at campus sites, with the higher seed hosting matches. The host for the matches was determined by seeding from regular season play. The eight-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Monmouth were the defending champions and were unable to defend their title, losing to Marist in the semifinals. Marist went on to win the Championship, defeating Rider in a penalty shoot-out in the final. This is Marist's fourth overall tournament win and first since 2005. The title is also the first for head coach Matt Viggiano. As tournament champions, Marist earned the MAAC's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament.
