The 2024 FIA Motorsport Games Esports GT Cup Powered by Mercedes-AMG Motorsport is the third FIA Motorsport Games Digital GT Cup, to be held at City of Arts and Sciences, Valencia, Spain on 23 October to 27 October 2024. [1] The race will be contested with Mercedes-AMG GT GT3-spec cars. The event is the part of the 2024 FIA Motorsport Games.

Group GT3, known technically as Cup Grand Touring Cars and commonly referred to as simply GT3, is a set of regulations maintained by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) for grand tourer racing cars designed for use in various auto racing series throughout the world. The GT3 category was initially created in 2005 by the SRO Motorsports Group as a third rung in the ladder of grand touring motorsport, below the Group GT1 and Group GT2 categories which were utilized in the SRO's FIA GT Championship, and launched its own series in 2006 called the FIA GT3 European Championship. Since then, Group GT3 has expanded to become the de facto category for many national and international grand touring series, although some series modify the ruleset from the FIA standard. Maximilian Buhk is a retired German racing driver. He experienced considerable success racing for Mercedes-AMG in the GT3 scene, winning the 2012 FIA GT3 European Championship and 2013 Blancpain Endurance Series, before taking the 2015 Blancpain GT Sprint Series title as part of the Bentley factory lineup.

The 2019 Intercontinental GT Challenge was the fourth season of the Intercontinental GT Challenge. The season featured five rounds, starting with the Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour on 3 February and concluding with the Kyalami 9 Hours on 23 November. The 2019 FIA GT World Cup was a Grand Touring (GT) sports car race held on the Guia Circuit in Macau on 17 November. It was the fifth edition of the FIA GT World Cup and the twelfth GT3 car race to be held in Macau. The event promoter, the Automobile General Association Macau-China, appointed the motorsports organiser Stéphane Ratel Organisation (SRO) to form a grid. The edition itself was made up of two races: a 12-lap qualifying race and an 18-lap main event.

The 2020 GT World Challenge America powered by AWS is the 14th season of the United States Auto Club's GT World Challenge America, the third season under ownership of the SRO Motorsports Group and the first season without Blancpain sponsorship. The season began on 7 March in Austin and will end on 4 October at Indianapolis.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2022 FIA Motorsport Games</span> Motorsports competition held in France in 2022

The 2022 FIA Motorsport Games was the second edition of the FIA Motorsport Games. The event took place on 26–30 October 2022 with Marseille as a host city, and the Circuit Paul Ricard, Le Castellet as the venue for all the track-based disciplines. Scheduled initially for 23–25 October 2020, and later for 29–31 October 2021, the event was postponed two years in a row due to the COVID-19 pandemic. From this edition onwards, the FIA Motorsport Games will be held every two years, as opposed to an annual format.

The 2023 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup was the thirteenth season of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup since its inception in 2011 as the Blancpain Endurance Series. The season began on 22 April at Autodromo Nazionale Monza and ended on 1 October at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

The 2022 Fanatec FIA Motorsport Games Esports Cup was the second FIA Motorsport Games Digital Cup, to be held at Circuit Paul Ricard, France on 26 October to 30 October 2022. The race was contested with GT3-spec cars. The event is the part of the 2022 FIA Motorsport Games.

The 2023 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup was the eleventh season of the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup following on from the demise of the SRO Motorsports Group's FIA GT1 World Championship, the third with the sponsorship of Fanatec.
