The 2024 FIBA U16 EuroBasket Division C was the 18th edition of the Division C of the European basketball championship for men's under-16 national teams. The tournament was played in Tirana, Albania, from 9 to 14 July 2024. [1]
The draw of the first round was held on 6 February 2024 in Freising, Germany. [2] [3]
In the first round, the teams were drawn into two groups of four. The first two teams from each group advanced to the semifinals; the third and fourth teams advanced to the 5th–8th place playoffs.

The FIBA U16 EuroBasket is the new name for the FIBA U16 European Championship, originally known as the FIBA European Championship for Cadets. It's a men's youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1971 edition. Through the 2003 edition, it was held every second year, but since the 2004 edition onward, it is held every year. It serves as the qualification tournament for the FIBA Under-17 World Cup in odd years, for the FIBA Europe region. The current champions are Spain.
The 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cupqualification for the FIBA Europe region, began in August 2017 and concluded in February 2019. Contrary to previous years, no teams were automatically placed into the World Cup, so all FIBA Europe nations had to participate in qualification.
The EuroBasket 2022 qualification was a basketball competition that was played from November 2017 to February 2021, to determine the 20 FIBA Europe nations who would join the automatically qualified co-hosts Czech Republic, Georgia, Italy, and Germany at the EuroBasket 2022 finals tournament.
The Albania men's national under-16 basketball team is a national basketball team of Albania, administered by the Albanian Basketball Federation (FSHB). It represents the country in international men's under-16 basketball competitions.

The 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualification for the FIBA Europe region, will begin in February 2024 and will conclude in March 2027. The process will determine the twelve teams that will qualify for the 2027 FIBA World Cup.
