Rubina Chhetry is a Nepali cricketer who plays for the women's national cricket team as a right-arm medium pace bowler. She is the former captain of the team appointed in 2012, when she replaced Neri Thapa. In 2009, she became the first cricketer to take a hat-trick for Nepal in an international match, and in 2019 she took Nepal's first hat-trick in a Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I).
The 2020 Manmohan Memorial National One-Day Cricket Tournament was the second edition of one of the main domestic 50-over competitions in Nepal, alongside the Prime Minister One Day Cup. The tournament featured sides representing the seven provinces of Nepal plus three departments, the host club and a Malaysian XI. This was the second edition of the tournament after the first was held in January 2019. The Malaysian national side played a series of one-day matches against Nepal after the conclusion of the tournament.
The 2021 Prime Minister Cup was the fourth edition of the Prime Minister One Day Cup, the premier one-day cricket tournament in Nepal. The tournament was contested by teams representing the seven Provinces of Nepal as well as three departmental teams. It began on 15 January 2021 and ended on 30 January 2021. All matches of the tournament were broadcast live by DishHome's "Action Sports" channel. Nepal Police Club were the defending champions, but were eliminated at the semi-final stage by Armed Police Force Club. Tribhuwan Army Club won the title following a 33-run win over APF Club in the final.
The Uganda women's cricket team toured Nepal in May 2022 to play five Twenty20 International (T20I) series. All of the matches in the series were played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. These were the first women's international matches played at Kirtipur. The series was used by Uganda as preparation for the 2022 Kwibuka Tournament.

UAE won the tournament by defeating Oman in the final, and thus qualified for the 2025 Asia Cup. The participating teams were the hosts Malaysia along with Hong Kong, Kuwait and Nepal. All the matches were played at Bayuemas Oval in Klang. The tournament formed part of the preparation of all four teams for the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier tournament.
The 2023 Nepal Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 International cricket tournament, took place in October 2023 in Nepal. The participating teams were Nepal, Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates. The tournament formed part of all the three teams' preparations for the Asia World Cup Qualifier.
Surya Tamang is a Nepalese cricketer who plays as a left arm off-spin bowler. He has played in different leagues including NepalT20, EPL,Dhangadhi Premier League for different teams like Biratnagar Super Kings, Lalitpur Patriots, Armed Police Force, Kathmandu Golden Warriors & Rapti team in Gautam Buddha Cup 2020. He had also been a part of Under-19s in 2018 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup and 2019 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup. In 2022, Tamang was adjudged as emerging player of the tournament in the inaugural Nepal T20 League. Soon, he got the maiden call up for the National team for the home Tri-Series against Namibia and Scotland under CWC League 2 in February 2023. He was adjudged Player of the Tournament in 2024 Prime Minister Cup where he took a record 30 wickets in 9 matches representing Bagmati Province cricket team. Tamang became the 38th player to represent Nepal national cricket team in ODI when he made his debut against the Canada.
The 2023 KP Oli Cup was the inaugural edition of the KP Oli Cup, the domestic T20 tournament in Nepal. The tournament was contested by teams representing the seven Provinces of Nepal, three departmental teams as well as two organizer teams. It began on 23 November 2023 and ended on 1 December 2023.
Madhesh Province Cricket Team, and also known as Team Madhesh is a Nepali provincial cricket team, based in the Madhesh Province of Nepal. The team plays limited overs and Twenty20 cricket in the Prime Minister One Day Cup. The team is currently being run under the Madhesh Province Cricket Association.

The format was changed for the 2023–24 season, with the eight teams competing in a round-robin format with the top four advancing to the play-offs.
The 2024 Nepal Tri-Nation Series was the first round of the 2024–2026 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament took place in Nepal in February 2024. The tri-nation series was contested by the men's national teams of Namibia, Nepal and Netherlands. The matches were played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures.
The Canada men's cricket team toured Nepal in February 2024 to play three One Day International (ODI) matches against Nepal. For Nepal, the series provided the preparation for the 2024 Nepal Tri-Nation Series. In January 2024, the Cricket Association of Nepal announced the bilateral series as a part of Nepal's cricket calendar for 2024.

The Ireland Wolves cricket team toured Nepal in March and April 2024 to play three List A and three Twenty20 (T20) matches against a Nepal A side. Before those matches, the team played a two-match T20 series against the senior Nepal men's side. This was the first tour to Nepal by an Irish representative team. The tour also marked the first-ever T20 series played by Nepal A.
