2025 Las Cruces shooting

A mass shooting occurred on March 21, 2025, at a car show held at Young Park, in which three teenagers were killed and 15 others were wounded. Police reported that the shooting was a result of a dispute between two groups which escalated into an exchange of gunfire. [1] Two days later, a 20-year-old man and three teenagers, ages 15 to 17, were arrested in connection with the shooting. At least one suspect has a criminal history, and the shooting may have had gang overtones. [2]

Young Park is a park and music venue in Las Cruces, New Mexico. It is located at 1905 E. Nevada Avenue. [3] It is located near Lynn Middle School.
