The 2025 Northwest Territories Men's Curling Championship , the men's territorial curling championship for the Northwest Territories, will be held from January 30 to February 3 at the Hay River Curling Club in Hay River, Northwest Territories. [1] The winning rink will represent the Northwest Territories at the 2025 Montana's Brier in Kelowna, British Columbia. [2]

With only three teams entering the event, the format will be a double round robin with a 3-team playoff.

The 2001 Nokia Brier, Canada's national men's curling championship, was held March 3–11 at the Ottawa Civic Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. It was the very first Brier to be sponsored by Nokia. The theme of the event was the 2001: A Space Odyssey. In the finals, Team Alberta, consisting of skip Randy Ferbey, fourth David Nedohin, second Scott Pfeifer and lead Marcel Rocque would capture their first of four Brier wins as a team. They edged out Team Manitoba skipped by Kerry Burtnyk in the final, 8–4. While the Brier was not unsuccessful, it did end up losing money. The total attendance was 154,136.

The 1975 Macdonald Brier, the Canadian men's national curling championship was held from March 2 to 8, 1975 at the Lady Beaverbrook Rink in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The total attendance for the week was 20,672. This was the first Brier in which a combined Territories team would participate, increasing the field from 11 to 12 teams. This arrangement would last until 2015 when each territory was granted a separate entry along with a Team Canada entry for the defending Brier champions.

The 2010 Tim Hortons Brier, the Canadian men's national curling championship, was held between March 6 until March 14, 2010 in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the Halifax Metro Centre. It marked the sixth time the Brier had been to Halifax, and the second time in eight years, having previously hosted the 2003 Nokia Brier.

The 2013 Yukon/NWT Men's Curling Championship was held from January 11 to 13 at the Fort Smith Curling Club in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories. The winning team, skipped by Jamie Koe, represented the Northwest Territories and the Yukon at the 2013 Tim Hortons Brier in Edmonton, Alberta.

The winning Jamie Koe rink from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories represented Yukon and the Northwest Territories at the 2014 Tim Hortons Brier in Kamloops.

The 2015 Northwest Territories Men's Curling Championship was held from February 4 to 8 at the Inuvik Curling Club in Inuvik, Northwest Territories. It was the first territorial men's championship to be held since the Northwest Territories gained a direct entry to the Brier, Canada's national men's curling championship. Prior to 2015, the top two teams in the territory played in the Yukon/NWT Men's Curling Championship, with the winner going to the Brier. The winning team represented the Northwest Territories at the 2015 Tim Hortons Brier in Calgary.

The 2025 Montana's Brier, Canada's national men's curling championship, will be held from February 28 to March 9 at Prospera Place in Kelowna, British Columbia. The winning team will represent Canada at the 2025 World Men's Curling Championship at Mosaic Place in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

The 2025 Men's Ontario Curling Championship, better known as the Ontario Tankard, will be held from January 19 to 26 at Cobourg Community Centre in Cobourg, Ontario. It serves as the provincial men's curling championship for Southern Ontario. The winning team will represent Ontario at the 2025 Montana's Brier, Canada's national men's curling championship in Kelowna, British Columbia. The 2025 Hardline Quebec Tankard, the provincial men's curling championship of Quebec, is currently being held from January 14 to 19 at the Centre Sportif Mistouk in Alma, Quebec. The winning rink will represent Quebec at the 2025 Montana's Brier in Kelowna, British Columbia. The event is being held in conjunction with the 2025 Quebec Women's Curling Championship, the provincial women's championship.
