The 2024 Pan Continental Curling Championships were held from October 27 to November 2 at the Gary Moe Auto Group Sportsplex (A Division) and the Lacombe Curling Club (B Division) in Lacombe, Alberta, Canada. [1] The event was used to qualify teams for the 2025 World Curling Championships. Both men's and women's events consisted of an A Division and B Division. [2]

Contents

In the men's competition, Canada automatically qualified as the host nation for the 2025 World Men's Curling Championship, which will be held in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Furthermore, the top four teams from the A Division (China, Japan, the United States, South Korea) also secured qualification for the championship. Conversely, the team ranked lowest in the A Division (Chinese Taipei) was relegated to the B Division in the following year. Additionally, the top finisher in the B Division (Philippines) earned promotion to the A Division for the 2025 championship.

On the women's side, South Korea earned automatic qualification as the host nation for the 2025 World Women's Curling Championship, scheduled to be held in Uijeongbu. Similar to the men's division, the top four teams from the A Division (Canada, China, Japan, the United States), in addition to South Korea, also secured qualification for the World Women's Championship and the team with the lowest ranking in the A Division (Chinese Taipei) was relegated to the B Division, while the top finisher in the B Division (Australia) will be promoted to the A Division for the 2025 championship.

They represented Korea at the 2023 Pan Continental Curling Championships and later the 2024 World Curling Championships. The championship was held in three rounds.

The 2024 Le Gruyère AOP European Curling Championships qualify European curling teams for the 2025 World Curling Championships. The A and B division competitions were held from November 16 to 23, with the A division being held at the Kisakillio Sports Institute in Lohja, Finland, and the B division being held at the Östersund Curling Club in Östersund, Sweden. The C division competition was held from April 28 to May 4 at the Dumfries Ice Bowl in Dumfries, Scotland.

The 2024 Korean Curling Championships,, Korea's national curling championships, were held from June 9 to 17 at the Uijeongbu Curling Stadium in Uijeongbu, South Korea. The winning teams on both the men's and women's sides became the Korean National Teams for the 2024–25 curling season. They will represent Korea at the 2024 Pan Continental Curling Championships, the 2025 Asian Winter Games and later the 2025 World Curling Championships. Both the men's and women's events were played in a round robin format which qualified four teams for the page playoffs.

The 2024 World Mixed Curling Championship was held from 12 to 19 October in Aberdeen, Scotland. The event marked the debut of Puerto Rico at a World Curling Championship, joining as a new member of World Curling in 2023.
