The 2025 The Duel at Daytona are an upcoming pair of NASCAR Cup Series stock car races that will be held on February 13, 2025, at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. Both will be contested over 60 laps, they will be the qualifying races for the 2025 Daytona 500.
Daytona International Speedway is one of three superspeedways to hold NASCAR races, the other two being Atlanta Motor Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway. [4] The standard track at Daytona International Speedway is a four-turn superspeedway that is 2.5 miles (4.0 km) long. [5] The track's turns are banked at 31 degrees, while the front stretch, the location of the finish line, is banked at 18 degrees. [5]

The 2010 Budweiser Shootout was the first exhibition stock car race of the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. It was held on February 6, 2010 at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, before a crowd of 85,000. The 76-lap race was won by Kevin Harvick of the Richard Childress Racing team. It was Harvick's first victory of the season; Kasey Kahne finished second and Jamie McMurray came in third.

It was also his third consecutive win in the season-opener Daytona race. Jesse Love, Hill's teammate, started on the pole and led a race-high 34 laps, before being involved in a wreck during Stage 2. To fill out the podium, Sheldon Creed, driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, and Parker Retzlaff, driving for Jordan Anderson Racing, would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
