The 21st Santosham Film Awards, officially known as Santosham South Indian Film Awards 2022, was an awards ceremony held at Hyderabad, India on 26 December 2022. [1] [2] The ceremony recognized the best films and performances from the Tollywood and other Indian language films and music released between 2021 and November 2022, along with special honors for lifetime contributions and a few special awards. [3] The awards are annually presented by Santosham Magazine.

Konidela Chiranjeevi is an Indian actor, film producer and politician who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. He is regarded as one of the most successful and influential actors in the history of Indian cinema. In a career spanning over four decades, he starred in over 150 feature films, predominantly in Telugu, as well as some films in Hindi, Tamil and Kannada. Chiranjeevi won the Andhra Pradesh state's highest film award, the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, three Nandi Awards, and nine Filmfare Awards South including the Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2024, the Government of India honoured him with Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian honour. Earlier In 2006, he was honoured with the Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest civilian award, for his contributions to Indian cinema. In 2013, CNN-IBN named him as one of "the men who changed the face of the Indian Cinema".
Allu Aravind is an Indian film producer, film distributor, and businessman. He is regarded as one of the most powerful and successful producers in South Indian cinema. He is the founder of Geetha Arts, a major film production house in the Telugu film industry. He is also the co-owner of Aha, an online streaming service, and the Indian Super League club, Kerala Blasters FC. Aravind won the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement and two Nandi Awards for his work as a producer.
Velamakucha Venkata Ramana Reddy, known professionally as Dil Raju, is an Indian film producer and distributor known for his works in Telugu cinema. He has also financed some Tamil and Hindi films and owns the production company Sri Venkateswara Creations. Raju has won two National Film Awards and was honoured with the Nagi Reddy–Chakrapani National Award in 2013 for his contributions to popular cinema.

K. K. Senthil Kumar is an Indian cinematographer who works in Telugu cinema. He is known for his frequent collaborations with S.S. Rajamouli. He graduated with a degree in cinematography from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. He made his debut as a cinematographer with the sitcom TV series Amrutham. He made his film debut with Aithe (2003) which brought him recognition.

The awards are annually presented by Santosham magazine. It was live telecasted on 99TV network and was re-telecasted on Zee Telugu and Zee Cinemalu.

The awards are annually presented by Santosham Magazine. The event replaced the 18th and 19th ceremonies of Santosham Film Awards. The 18th awards ceremony was scheduled to be held in September 2020, which was cancelled to due to COVID-19 pandemic in India.
