The 4th Annual Shorty Awards featured Ricky Gervais and Tiffani Thiessen. 1.6 million tweeted nominations were made across all the categories to honor the top users on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Foursquare, YouTube and other internet platforms.

The ceremony took place on March 27, 2012 at the Times Center and was hosted by Samantha Bee and Jason Jones. The show began with welcomes from Anderson Cooper and Piers Morgan, with the Gregory Brothers performing live. Tracy Morgan was featured in a short video made for the ceremony. Mayor Mike Bloomberg accepted an award presented by Foursquare co-founder and CEO Dennis Crowley. [1] [2]

The 8th Annual Shorty Awards, honoring the best in social media, took place on April 11, 2016, at The Times Center in New York City. The ceremony was hosted by YouTube comedian Mamrie Hart, who was accompanied by Flula Borg as the ceremony DJ. There was a musical performances from Nico & Vinz.

The ceremony for the 6th Shorty Awards took place on April 7, 2014, at the New York Times Center and was hosted by comedian Natasha Leggero. The show included appearances by Patton Oswalt, Jamie Oliver, Kristen Bell, Jerry Seinfeld, Moshe Kasher, Julie Klausner, Erin Brady, Guy Kawasaki, Matt Walsh, Retta, Us the Duo, Big Boi, Gilbert Gottfried, Thomas Middleditch, Billie Jean King and Leandra Medine. Winners included Jerry Seinfeld and Will Ferrell.

The 5th Annual Shorty Awards ceremony featured Felicia Day, James Urbaniak, Kristian Nairn, Hannibal Buress, Carrie Keagan, Chris Hardwick, David Karp and Coco Rocha. 2.4 million tweeted nominations were made across all the categories to honor the top users on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Foursquare, YouTube and other internet sites.

The nomination period for the third annual Shorty Awards opened in January 2011, and ran through February 11, 2011, except for new categories that had extended nomination deadlines. There were 30 official categories, and five special categories. In addition to Real-Time Photo of the Year, for the first time the awards accepted nominations for Foursquare Mayor of the Year, Foursquare Location of the Year, Microblog of the Year on Tumblr, and a Connecting People award. The awards also introduced new Shorty Industry Awards to recognize the best uses of social media by brands and agencies. A Marketing Jury within the Real-Time Academy of Short Form Arts & Sciences judges the Shorty Industry Awards and determines the winners from among the paid entries. Winners were announced at a ceremony on March 28, 2011, hosted by Aasif Mandvi in the Times Center. Other Shorty Awards presenters were scheduled to include Kiefer Sutherland, Jerry Stiller, Anne Meara, Stephen Wallem, Miss USA Rima Fakih, and Miss Teen USA Kamie Crawford.

Charles Paul Trippy III is an American musician, vlogger and internet personality based in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is a member of Bradenton-based rock band We the Kings. Trippy recorded his first album with We the Kings, titled Somewhere Somehow in 2013. The album peaked at no. 44 on Billboard 200. 60 Second Docs is a web series produced by Indigenous Media of original, short documentary videos produced and distributed weekly. The series launched on 26 July 2016 with two original videos. In 2019 the series received the Webby Award for Video - Documentary.

<i>Office Ladies</i> Television and comedy podcast

Office Ladies is a rewatch podcast hosted by Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey which premiered on the Earwolf platform on October 16, 2019. It is also produced by Earwolf. In each episode, Fischer and Kinsey, who co-starred on the American television sitcom The Office as Pam Beesly and Angela Martin, discuss scene-by-scene each of the show's episodes and offer behind-the-scenes commentary as well responses to fan questions. They are sometimes joined by guests that include former co-stars, producers and writers. The podcast aims to cover every episode of The Office's nine-season run. The managing producer is Codi Fischer and Sam Kieffer is the show's audio engineer. The producer is Cassi Jerkins, and the associate producer is Aynsley Bubbico. In May 2022, inspired by their podcast and friendship, Fischer and Kinsey released a book titled The Office BFFs: Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends Who Were There offering insight into their experiences while on The Office.
