The 7th Hum Awards by Hum Network Limited, honored the best in fashion, music, and Hum Television Dramas of 2018. It took place on 5 October 2019, at the NRG Arena in Houston, Texas, United States at 7:30 p.m (CST). [1] [2] [3] This award were given in 27 categories. The ceremony was televised in Pakistan by Hum TV.

On 21 August 2019, the nominees for the five viewers' choice categories were announced through the Hum Network website, which was followed by a period of public voting. [4]

During the ceremony, the Hum Channel presented Awards in 24 regular categories along with in 3 honorary and in 2 special categories. The ceremony was televised in Pakistan by Hum TV.

Nadia Afgan is a Pakistani actress who appears in Urdu films and television and films. She is known for her work in theatre and television. Her numerous work in television includes a series of plays in both Urdu and Punjabi. She rose to prominence when she appeared in the hit TV serial Family Front in 1997. Further success came in 2000 with the PTV Home's most-memorable sitcom Shashlik which was later re-aired on Geo TV in 2011. Afghan garnered wider appreciation for her comic role in the Hum TV's blockbuster comedy drama Suno Chanda (2018), and for its sequel Suno Chanda 2, as Shahana Batool the following year.

Sajal Aly is a Pakistani actress and model who predominantly works in television and films. One of the Pakistan's highest-paid actress, Aly has received several accolades including five Hum Awards and a Lux Style Award out of thirteen nominations.

Sarah Khan also known as Sarah Falak is a Pakistani actress who appears in Urdu-language television series. She made her acting debut with a supporting role in 2012 Hum TV's serial Badi Aapa and followed by other brief roles in several series. The Hum Award for Best Actress is an award presented annually by the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC). It is given in honor of an actress who has delivered an outstanding performance in a leading role while working within the Television industry. The 1st Hum Awards was held in 2013 with Mahira Khan winning the award, who was honored for her role in Shehr-e-Zaat. The award has commonly been referred to as the hum for Best Actress Jury or Best Drama Actress Jury. Currently, nominees are determined by single transferable vote, within the actors and jury branch of HTNEC; winners are selected by a plurality vote from the entire eligible voting members of the Hum. This awards is equivalent to the Hum Award for Best Actress Popular, which is given in the ceremony but winners are only selected by viewers voting's. Multiple nominations for an actress in same category but for different work is eligible.

Khan has established herself as one of the leading television actresses and is a recipient of several accolades including three Hum Awards and two Lux Style Awards. Khan has been described among the nation's highest-paid actresses by the media.

Suno Chanda is a 2018 Pakistani Ramadan special romantic comedy series developed by Shahzad Javed, Head of Content, HUM TV directed by Ahson Talish and written by Saima Akram Chaudhry. The series celebrates the Pakistani wedding traditions and relates the story of a couple who are cousins in Nikaah, living separately as the Rukhsati is yet to happen, and the relationship between their families. It was aired every day on Hum TV.

Ramsha Khan is a Pakistani actress who works in Urdu-language television. She made her debut with the film Thora Jee Le (2017), the same year she appeared in television with Woh Aik Pal. Khan received recognition for her shows Mah-e-Tamaam (2018) and Khudparast (2018-19). For her portrayal of an independent girl in Ghisi Piti Mohabbat (2021), she won the ARY People Choice Award for Favorite Actress. Khan went on to portray an army officer in Sinf-e-Aahan (2021–22) and college girl in Hum Tum (2022). For the latter, she received a Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress nomination.

Osama Tahir is a Pakistani television actor, producer and film actor. He worked and starred in several critically acclaimed television serials such as Dar Si Jaati Hai Sila, Belapur Ki Dayan and Hania, the first one of which earned him a nomination of Lux Style Award for Best Emerging Talent. Later he appeared in dramas such as Mushk, Neeli Zinda Hai and Baddua.
