The 8th Hum Awards by Hum Network celebrated the excellence in music, fashion, and Hum Television Dramas in 2021. The ceremony took place on 24 September 2022 at FirstOntario Centre, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, [1] and was later televised on Hum TV. [2] During the ceremony, Hum Awards were handed out in 21 categories.

The Hum Award for Best Drama Serial or Hum Award for Best Drama Serial Jury is one of the Hum Awards of Merit presented annually since the awards debuted in 2013, by the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC) to production company of their producers working in the television industry and is the only category in which every member is eligible to nominate for. Best Drama Serial is considered the most important of the Hum Awards, as it represents all the directing, acting, music, writing, and other efforts put forth into a drama. Consequently, Best Drama is the third last final award besides Best Actor and Actress and the conclusion of the annual Hum Awards ceremony. Zara Noor Abbas Gill, also known by her married name Zara Noor Abbas Siddiqui, is a Pakistani actress. She is best known for her role as Arsala in Momina Duraid's Khamoshi (2017), and has also acted in serials Dharkan (2016), Lamhay (2018), Qaid (2018), Deewar-e-Shab (2019), Ehd-e-Wafa (2019), Phaans (2021), Badshah Begum (2022) and Jhoom (2023). She made her film debut with Wajahat Rauf's Chhalawa (2019) and later appeared in Asim Raza's Parey Hut Luv in the same year.

Sila-e-Mohabbat is a 2021 Pakistani drama television series, produced by MD Productions. It stars Rabab Hashim, Noor Hassan Rizvi and Momina Iqbal in lead roles. It first aired on 11 October 2021 on Hum TV.

Hum Tum is a 2022 Pakistani Ramadan special television comedy drama series, produced by Momina Duraid under her production banner MD Productions. Directed by Danish Nawaz and written by Saima Akram Chaudhry, it aired on Hum TV from 3 April 2022 to 3 May 2022, with the last episode airing on the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr 2022. The series starred Ahad Raza Mir, Ramsha Khan, Sarah Khan and Junaid Khan as leads.

Kala Doriya is a Pakistani romance comedy-drama television series that was first broadcast on Hum TV on 16 September 2022. Momina Duraid produced the show under the banner, MD Productions. It was written by Saima Akram Chaudhry and directed by Danish Nawaz. The series stars an ensemble of Sana Javed, Osman Khalid Butt, Nadia Afgan, Zainab Qayyum, Adla Khan, Shahzad Noor, Samina Ahmed, and Khalid Anam.
