The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship, and also known as the Basket League for sponsorship reasons, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. It is run by HEBA, under the legal authority of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.).

They have won a record 23 Championships, 5 Cups, with 5 Doubles, while they hold the record for finishing undefeated the Championship 8 times. They hold also the record of 68 straight wins in the league including the play-offs.
The Greek Women's Water Polo A1 League is the premier championship for women's water polo teams in Greece. It was founded in 1988, and it is currently contested by eight teams. Greek League is ranked as one of the top national domestic leagues in European water polo. The champion, the runner-up and the third-placed team qualify for the LEN Euro League.
The Greek women’s Basketball League, also known as A1 Ethniki Women's Basketball is the most important competition of Greek women’s professional basketball. It is organised by the EOK. It began with the 1967–68 season. The first championship of the league, which was held in the 1967–68 season, was organised by ΕΟΑΠ. Two years later, the EOK assumed control of the competition.
The 2014–15 Greek A2 Basket League was the 29th season of the Greek A2 Basket League, the second-tier level professional club basketball league in Greece. The winner of the league was Kavala The clubs that were promoted to the top-tier Greek Basket League were Kavala, Arkadikos, and Lavrio. In contrast, the teams that were relegated to the third tier Greek B Basket League were Filippos Veria, Ermis Lagkada, and Ilysiakos Ilysiakos withdrew from the league in the middle of the season, because of economic debts. All the games of Ilysiakos were given back to their opponents with scores of 20–0.
The 2003–04 Greek Basket League season was the 64th season of the Greek Basket League, the highest tier professional basketball league in Greece. It was also the 12th season of Greek Basket League championship that was regulated by HEBA (ESAKE). The winner of the league was Panathinaikos, which beat Maroussi in the league's playoff's finals series. The clubs Irakleio and Ilysiakos were relegated to the Greek A2 League, along with Peristeri, which was relegated because it faced financial problems. The top scorer of the league was Nestoras Kommatos, a player of Aris.
Esperides Kallitheas is a women's basketball club, based in Kallithea, Athens. Esperides was founded in 1995, and at the end of 2012, changed its name and its emblem, and restarted as GS Ikaros kallitheas. This was because since Esperides faced financial problems and wasn't able to continue in the Greek Women's League championship. Esperides has won two Greek Women's League championships and four Greek Women's Cups. In 2017-18 season Ikaros Kallitheas renamed again Esperides Kallitheas.
Proteas Voulas is a Greek basketball club based in Voula, Athens. It was founded in 1980. Proteas has both men's and women's team which play in Greek national divisions. The women's team plays in A1 Ethniki Women (first-tier) and the men's team plays in Greek C Basketball League (fourth-tier). The team's colours are blue and red and the home stadium of the club is the Voulas Indoor Hall.
A2 Ethniki Women's Volleyball is the 2nd-tier of championship of women's volleyball in Greece. Since current year, the championship is held in four subgroups of teams. The winners of each subgroups take part in play off games. The winners of play off team take part in final four and three best teams promote to A1 Ethniki. In current season the winners are AOF Porfyras, Iraklis Kifissias and APS Corinthos. From 2017–18 season established a second level in A2 category named as Women's Pre League.
Panionios Women's Basketball is the women's basketball department of Panionios GSS, the Greek multi-sport club based in Nea Smyrni. The first basketball department of the club was founded in 1919 and was one of the first in Greece. The women's department in turn was established in the post-war period. Its last reconstitution took place in the late 1990s. The club plays in A2 Ethniki but recently it has played in A1 Ethniki. They have won one Greek Championship, in 2007.
GS Iraklis Women's Basketball is the women's basketball department of G.S. Iraklis, the Greek multi-sports club based in Thessaloniki. The club plays in A2 Ethniki. They have won three Greek Championships, in 1968, 1970 and 1971.
The 2015–16 Greek A2 Basket League was the 30th season of the Greek A2 Basket League, the second-tier level professional club basketball league in Greece. This season was the first season with the participation of 16 teams. It was also the first season where playoff and play out games were held. The winner was Kymis, which got promoted directly to GBL (A1). The second place team was Faros Keratsiniou, but the club didn't accept to play in the top-tier GBL, and it was replaced by the third placed team, Promitheas Patras. In contrast, Evropi Pefkochoriou and Filippos Veroias were relegated to Greek B League directly, and Peristeri and Panerythraikos were relegated after play out games.

The Greek Basket League Most Spectacular Player, or Greek Basket League MSP, is an annual award for the "most spectacular player" of each season of Greece's top-tier level professional basketball club league, the Greek Basket League. The award is given to the player that is deemed to have the most impressive highlight plays of the season, and that tend to be slam dunk plays.
The 2018–19 Greek betshop.gr Basket League was the 79th season of the Greek Basket League, the top-tier level professional club basketball league in Greece. The season started on 7 October 2018, and ended on 15 June 2019. Panathinaikos OPAP won the Greek Basket League championship for a record 37th time, after beating Promitheas Patras 3–0 in the Finals.
The 2019–20 Greek betshop.gr Basket League was the 80th season of the Greek Basket League, the top-tier level professional club basketball league in Greece. The season started in September 2019, and ended prematurely in March 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 21 May 2020, after a vote that was held between the league's 14 teams, Panathinaikos was crowned the Greek basketball league's champion for the season, marking the club's 38th Greek championship. The league's 14 teams also agreed that none of the teams would be relegated.
