The AEW Dynamite Debut episode was a Professional Wrestling show that marked the debut of AEW's weekly AEW Dynamite television show. The show took place on October 2, 2019. [1] [2]
The show aired Live on the TNT taking place at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. The event marked the first time a professional wrestling event aired on TNT since the final episode of WCW Monday Nitro on March 26, 2001. [2]
The event included matches that resulted from scripted storylines, where wrestlers portrayed heroes, villains, or less distinguishable characters in scripted events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches. [3] Results were predetermined by AEW's writers. [4]
Jim Ross, Excalibur and Tony Shiavone introduced the debut of episode as part of the commentary team. The team announced a number of matches including "Hangman" Adam Page vs. Pac, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho, Santana and Ortiz, and the inaugural AEW Women's World Championship match between Riho and Nyla Rose. The inaugural episode of Dynamite had 1,409,000 viewers, being 16th most viewed cable show and the 2nd most viewed show for the 18-49 key demo. [6]

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. It is owned by Shahid and his son Tony Khan, with the latter being the president and chief executive officer. Its headquarters is at EverBank Stadium, the home of the National Football League's Jacksonville Jaguars, a team also owned by Shahid Khan. Samuel Ratsch, better known by the ring name Darby Allin, is an American professional wrestler. He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) where he is a former two-time AEW TNT Champion and former one-time AEW World Tag Team Champion. He is currently out of action due to a broken foot. Ratsch is also known for his appearances in World Wrestling Network promotions, wrestling for Evolve.
Samuel Guevara is an American professional wrestler signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he was a former member of the Jericho Appreciation Society. He is a record tying three-time former AEW TNT Champion. He also appears in AEW's Mexico based partner promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), where he is a former AAA Mixed Tag Team Champion with real life wife Tay Melo, and a former AAA Cruiserweight Champion.
The Dark Order is a professional wrestling stable currently wrestling in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and consisting of Evil Uno, John Silver, Alex Reynolds, and Brodie Lee Jr. The stable also sometimes utilizes masked henchmen dubbed "creepers" who, when the group is being portrayed as villainous, will join them in beatdowns and other disruptive acts.

The 2020 Double or Nothing was the second annual Double or Nothing professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It took place during Memorial Day weekend on Saturday, May 23, 2020, in Jacksonville, Florida. While the majority of the event aired live from Daily's Place, the main event match was pre-recorded from May 22–23 at the nearby TIAA Bank Field. It was the first event to feature the AEW TNT Championship. The event aired through traditional PPV outlets, as well as on B/R Live in North America and FITE TV internationally.
AEW Dark, or simply Dark, is an American professional wrestling streaming television program that was produced by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW), running from October 8, 2019, to April 25, 2023, on AEW's YouTube channel. The program featured matches taped either before or after the preceding episode of Rampage, a pay-per-view, or at Soundstage 21 in Universal Studios Florida, which served as the main location for the tapings of Dark's weekly episodes. Prior to this, it was taped before and after the preceding episode of AEW's flagship program, Dynamite, and had featured segments highlighting the previous week's Dynamite and interviews with AEW personalities. The show was originally hosted by Tony Schiavone and Dasha Gonzalez in a studio called the "AEW Control Center". Both Dark and its spin-off, Elevation, were canceled due to the addition of AEW's television program, Collision.
AEW Bash at the Beach was a series of professional wrestling events produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The two-part, nine-day event began on January 15, 2020, from the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida with a special episode of Dynamite, which aired as a television special on TNT. The series continued with Chris Jericho's Rock 'N' Wrestling Rager at Sea, with matches from the cruise airing on the January 22 episode of Dynamite. The events continued until January 24. The event takes its name from an old World Championship Wrestling (WCW) pay-per-view of the same name, but is not a continuation of that chronology, as that library of events is owned by WWE. The event was replaced by Beach Break in 2021.
Michael Austin Wardlow is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) where he performs under the mononymous ring name Wardlow, and is a member of the Undisputed Kingdom stable. He is a former three-time AEW TNT Champion.
The AEW TNT Championship is a men's professional wrestling television championship created and promoted by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Established on March 30, 2020, it is named after the TNT television network, which currently airs AEW's weekly programs, Collision and Rampage, as well as the promotion's Battle of the Belts quarterly television specials. The inaugural champion was Cody Rhodes. The current champion is Adam Copeland, who is in his second reign. He won the title by defeating previous champion Christian Cage in an "I Quit" match on March 20, 2024, which started on Dynamite and concluded on Rampage.

Established by the promotion in 2020, it celebrates the company's return to its home venue of Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida. After producing Homecoming events in 2020 and 2021, the special was briefly discontinued until its return in 2024. The event originally aired as a special episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite on TNT, but in 2024, it was expanded to a two-part special, also encompassing Friday Night Rampage, with Dynamite now airing on TBS and Rampage on TNT
The December 2021 New Year's Smash was the second New Year's Smash professional wrestling television special produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It took place on December 29, 2021, at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida. The two-part event was broadcast on TNT as special episodes of AEW's weekly television programs, Wednesday Night Dynamite and Friday Night Rampage. Dynamite aired live while Rampage aired on tape delay on December 31. It was the second New Year's Smash event to be held in 2021, after the first took place in January. The Dynamite broadcast was the show's final episode on TNT as Dynamite moved to TNT's sister channel TBS on January 5, 2022.

The two-part event was broadcast as special episodes of AEW's weekly television programs, Wednesday Night Dynamite and Friday Night Rampage. It took place on January 26, 2022, at Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Dynamite aired live on TBS while Rampage aired on tape delay on TNT on January 28. This would be the final Beach Break as an event was not held in 2023.

The event aired as a special episode of AEW's primary weekly television program, Wednesday Night Dynamite, which aired live on TBS. The July 1 episode of Friday Night Rampage on TNT, which was a special episode titled Royal Rampage and was the inaugural Royal Rampage, was also taped the same night immediately after the live broadcast of Blood & Guts.

It was held on August 10, 2022, at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, encompassing the broadcasts of AEW's weekly television programs, Wednesday Night Dynamite and Friday Night Rampage. Dynamite aired live on TBS while Rampage aired on tape delay on August 12 on TNT. The event's name is in reference to it taking place in Minneapolis, which is known for its many lakes.
