All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. It is owned by father and son duo Shahid and Tony Khan, with the latter being the president and chief executive officer. Its headquarters is at EverBank Stadium, the home of the National Football League's Jacksonville Jaguars, a team also owned by Shahid Khan. Since its inception, AEW has been one of the largest wrestling promotions in the world, second only to WWE in terms of annual revenue.

AEW Dynamite, also known as Wednesday Night Dynamite or simply Dynamite, is an American professional wrestling television program produced by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It airs live every Wednesday at 8 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on TBS, with some exceptions. The show premiered on October 2, 2019, and is considered AEW's flagship program. It is one of the company's three weekly programs, along with its second main program, Saturday Night Collision, and Friday Night Rampage, which focuses on younger wrestlers in the company. Dynamite is the first professional wrestling program to air on TBS since the final episode of WCW Thunder on March 21, 2001.

<i>AEW Dark</i> Professional wrestling streaming television program

AEW Dark, or simply Dark, is an American professional wrestling streaming television program that was produced by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW), running from October 8, 2019, to April 25, 2023, on AEW's YouTube channel. The program featured matches taped either before or after the preceding episode of Rampage, a pay-per-view, or at Soundstage 21 in Universal Studios Florida, which served as the main location for the tapings of Dark's weekly episodes. Prior to this, it was taped before and after the preceding episode of AEW's flagship program, Dynamite, and had featured segments highlighting the previous week's Dynamite and interviews with AEW personalities. The show was originally hosted by Tony Schiavone and Dasha Gonzalez in a studio called the "AEW Control Center". Both Dark and its spin-off, Elevation, were canceled due to the addition of AEW's television program, Collision.

AEW Dark: Elevation, also known as Dark: Elevation or simply Elevation, is an American professional wrestling streaming television program that was produced by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW), running from March 15, 2021, to April 24, 2023, on AEW's YouTube channel. The program was a spinoff of Dark that featured matches taped before and after the preceding episode of AEW's flagship program, Dynamite, with a focus on up and rising talent on the AEW roster, as well as wrestlers from the independent circuit. Both Dark and Elevation were canceled due to the addition of AEW's television program, Collision.

It airs every Friday at 10 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on TNT in the United States, although major sporting events occasionally move it to an earlier or later time slot the same day or the next day as a special Saturday Night Rampage. The show premiered on August 13, 2021.

The 2021 Grand Slam was the inaugural Grand Slam professional wrestling television special produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It was held on September 22, 2021, at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York. The two-part event was broadcast on TNT as special episodes of AEW's weekly television programs, Wednesday Night Dynamite and Friday Night RampageDynamite aired live while Rampage aired on tape delay on September 24. A total of 14 matches were contested. Five aired live on Dynamite while six aired on Rampage, which was expanded to two hours for the Grand Slam special. Three dark matches also occurred before the live event, which were shown on AEW's YouTube show, Elevation, on September 27.

Dynamite aired live while Rampage aired on tape delay on December 31. It was the second New Year's Smash event to be held in 2021, after the first took place in January. The Dynamite broadcast was the show's final episode on TNT as Dynamite moved to TNT's sister channel TBS on January 5, 2022.

It was named after one of AEW wrestler Orange Cassidy's finishing moves, the Beach Break. The event replaced Bash at the Beach as the promotion's beach-themed event held in January. The 2022 event would be the final Beach Break as an event was not held in 2023.

The show is distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery, which AEW's broadcast partners, TBS and TNT, are also part of. The event is held annually at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York in late September. The inaugural event was also AEW's first event to take place entirely within a stadium as well as the promotion's first event held in New York City.

It was held on June 29, 2022, at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The event aired as a special episode of AEW's primary weekly television program, Wednesday Night Dynamite, which aired live on TBS. The July 1 episode of Friday Night Rampage on TNT, which was a special episode titled Royal Rampage and was the inaugural Royal Rampage, was also taped the same night immediately after the live broadcast of Blood & Guts.

The concept of the event comes from the Blood and Guts match, which is AEW's version of the classic WarGames match in which two teams fight inside a roofed cell structure that surrounds two rings placed side-by-side. Each main event match of the card is contested under the Blood and Guts stipulation.
