All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. It is owned by father and son duo Shahid and Tony Khan, with the latter being the president and chief executive officer. It is headquartered at EverBank Stadium, the home of the National Football League's Jacksonville Jaguars, which is also owned by Shahid Khan.
Samuel Guevara is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where is a record tying three-time former AEW TNT Champion. He also appears in AEW's sister promotion Ring of Honor (ROH), where he is one-half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions with Dustin Rhodes in their first reign. He has previously worked for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), where he is a former AAA Mixed Tag Team Champion with real life wife Tay Melo, and a former AAA Cruiserweight Champion.
AEW Dynamite, also known as Wednesday Night Dynamite or simply Dynamite, is an American professional wrestling television program produced by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It airs live every Wednesday at 8:05 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on TBS, with some exceptions. The show premiered on October 2, 2019, and is considered AEW's flagship program. It is one of the company's three weekly programs, along with its second main program, Saturday Night Collision, and Friday Night Rampage, which focuses on younger wrestlers in the company. Dynamite is the first professional wrestling program to air on TBS since the final episode of WCW Thunder on March 21, 2001.
James Cipperly, better known by his ring name Orange Cassidy, is an American professional wrestler and wrestling trainer. He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling, where he is a member of The Conglomeration. He is a 2-time former AEW International Champion, with his first reign being the longest in the title's history. He is also treated as a member of the NJPW group Chaos, after the group was brought to the company by Rocky Romero.

The event marked AEW's resumption of live touring during the COVID-19 pandemic, following a year of producing shows at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida, also becoming the first major wrestling promotion to resume live touring during the pandemic. As such, it was the first of four episodes in AEW's "Welcome Back" tour. At the time, it was the largest attended wrestling event during the pandemic outside of WWE's WrestleMania 37 in April and AEW's own Double or Nothing in May.
The 2021 Grand Slam was the inaugural Grand Slam professional wrestling television special produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It was held on September 22, 2021, at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York. The two-part event was broadcast on TNT as special episodes of AEW's weekly television programs, Wednesday Night Dynamite and Friday Night Rampage—Dynamite aired live while Rampage aired on tape delay on September 24. A total of 14 matches were contested. Five aired live on Dynamite while six aired on Rampage, which was expanded to two hours for the Grand Slam special. Three dark matches also occurred before the live event, which were shown on AEW's YouTube show, Elevation, on September 27.
AEW Homecoming is a periodic professional wrestling television special produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Established by the promotion in 2020, it celebrates the company's return to its home venue of Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida. After producing Homecoming events in 2020 and 2021, the special was briefly discontinued until its return in 2024. The event originally aired as a special episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite on TNT, but in 2024, it was expanded to a two-part special, also encompassing Friday Night Rampage, with Dynamite now airing on TBS and Rampage on TNT

The inaugural 2020 event aired as a special episode of the promotion's flagship weekly television program, Wednesday Night Dynamite, while the 2021 event expanded the special to two nights, with the second part airing as a special episode of Friday Night Rampage. The 2023 event then expanded the special to three nights, with the third part airing as a special episode of Saturday Night Collision.

The July 1 episode of Friday Night Rampage on TNT, which was a special episode titled Royal Rampage and was the inaugural Royal Rampage, was also taped the same night immediately after the live broadcast of Blood & Guts.

It was held on June 15, 2022, in St. Louis, Missouri at the Chaifetz Arena, encompassing the broadcasts of AEW's weekly television programs, Wednesday Night Dynamite, which aired live on TBS, and Friday Night Rampage, which aired on tape delay on June 17 on TNT. The 2022 event expanded upon the previous year, which was only held as a special episode of Dynamite. This would be the final Road Rager as an event was not held in 2023.
AEW Blood & Guts is an annual professional wrestling television special produced by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) since 2021. The event airs mid-year as a special episode of the promotion's flagship weekly television program, Wednesday Night Dynamite; it originally aired on TNT in 2021, but has aired on TBS since 2022. The concept of the event comes from the Blood and Guts match, which is AEW's version of the classic WarGames match in which two teams fight inside a roofed cell structure that surrounds two rings placed side-by-side. Each main event match of the card is contested under the Blood and Guts stipulation.
