The 2021 Road Rager was the inaugural Road Rager professional wrestling television special produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It was held on July 7, 2021, in Miami, Florida at the James L. Knight Center and was broadcast live on TNT as a special episode of AEW's weekly television program, Dynamite. The event marked AEW's resumption of live touring during the COVID-19 pandemic, following a year of producing shows at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida, also becoming the first major wrestling promotion to resume live touring during the pandemic. As such, it was the first of four episodes in AEW's "Welcome Back" tour. At the time, it was the largest attended wrestling event during the pandemic outside of WWE's WrestleMania 37 in April and AEW's own Double or Nothing in May.
AEW Homecoming is a periodic professional wrestling television special produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Established by the promotion in 2020, it celebrates the company's return to its home venue of Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida. After producing Homecoming events in 2020 and 2021, the special was briefly discontinued until its return in 2024. The event originally aired as a special episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite on TNT, but in 2024, it was expanded to a two-part special, also encompassing Friday Night Rampage, with Dynamite now airing on TBS and Rampage on TNT
The AEW TBS Championship is a women's professional wrestling television championship created and promoted by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Established on October 6, 2021, it is the secondary championship of the promotion's female division, and the inaugural champion was Jade Cargill. It is named after the TBS television network, which currently airs AEW's flagship program, Dynamite. The current champion is Mercedes Moné, who is in her first reign. She won the title by defeating Willow Nightingale at Double or Nothing on May 26, 2024.

The Dynamite broadcast was the show's final episode on TNT as Dynamite moved to TNT's sister channel TBS on January 5, 2022.

The event was also originally held annually in late September. The 2025 event, however, will move Grand Slam up to February, which will also be the first Grand Slam to broadcast via pay-per-view (PPV), in turn reducing the event to one night.
