The international E-road network is a numbering system for roads in Europe developed by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). The network is numbered from E1 up and its roads cross national borders. It also reaches Central Asian countries like Kyrgyzstan, since they are members of the UNECE.
The Grand Trunk Road is one of Asia's oldest and longest major roads. For at least 2,500 years it has linked Central Asia to the Indian subcontinent. It runs roughly 3,655 km (2,271 mi) from Teknaf, Bangladesh on the border with Myanmar west to Kabul, Afghanistan, passing through Chittagong and Dhaka in Bangladesh, Kolkata, Kanpur, Agra, Aligarh, Delhi, Amritsar in India, and Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar in Pakistan.
The Asian Highway Network (AH), also known as the Great Asian Highway, is a cooperative project among countries in Asia and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) to improve their connectivity via highway systems, funded by G77 Gold Standards. It is one of the three pillars of the Asian Land Transport Infrastructure Development (ALTID) project, endorsed by the ESCAP commission at its 48th session in 1992, comprising Asian Highway, Trans-Asian Railway (TAR) and facilitation of land transport projects.

European route E80, also known as the Trans-European Motorway or TEM, is an A-Class West-East European route, extending from Lisbon, Portugal to Gürbulak, Turkey, on the border with Iran. The road connects 10 countries and has a length of approximately 6,102 kilometres (3,792 mi). At its eastern end it joins end-on with Asian Highway AH1 which continues all the way to Tokyo, Japan.
The Anatolia College in Merzifon or American College of Mersovan was a 4-year college, high school, theological seminary, orphanage and hospital located in the town of Merzifon in the Sivas Vilayet of the Ottoman Empire. Classes were offered to both male and female students. Established by American missionaries, the college existed from 1886 to 1924. The college was essentially destroyed by the Armenian genocide in 1915. Closed until 1919, it was subsequently relocated to Thessaloniki, Greece, and still operates as Anatolia College.

Approximately 2,527 kilometres (1,570 mi) long, it connects Saint Petersburg with Merzifon in north central Turkey. Between its northern terminus in Russia and its southern end, it passes in addition through Belarus and Ukraine. Between the ports of Odesa / Chornomorsk on Ukraine's southern coast and ports of Turkey vehicles are required to cross the Black Sea by ferry over a distance of 731 kilometres (454 mi).
Asian Highway 5 (AH5) is an east-west route of the Asian Highway Network, running 10,380 km (6,450 miles) from Shanghai, China via Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia to the border between Turkey and Bulgaria west of Istanbul where it connects to AH1 and E80.
D.200 is a west to east state road in Turkey. It starts at Çanakkale at Dardanelles strait extending D-550 and ends 10 km (6.2 mi) west of Refahiye, Erzincan Province joining with D-100. Since it runs all the way from west to east it crosses some north to south state roads such as D-555, D-565, D-575, D-160, D-650, D-675, D-260, D-750, D-765, D-785, D-795, D-805, D-850 and D-865.

Pınaryolu, formerly Divir, is a village in the Refahiye District of Erzincan Province in Turkey. The village is populated by Turks and had a population of 160 in 2022. The village is located 4km south of the town of Refahiye.
